I rarely understand the logic in our selections and this week is no different.

What roles will Voss and Jackson play?

I’m not criticising it, I just don’t understand it.

3 talls all game.

If they all play 80 percent game time including Darcy it works.

I would say Jackson will spend 15 percent time in midfield

I'm guessing Jackson 40% game time midfield, 40% ruck.

Voss 80% game time forward.

If we play both our ruckmen tying up $1.9M in the cap then play Voss as 2nd ruck and Jackson elsewhere I'll be worried.

Ras is obvious sub for me

Can pull off a tall if dogga isn't working in the mids

Unless reid needs rest

If you were to rank Erasmus as a footballer what would you say are his strengths and weaknesses?

Pace - 4 out of 10.
Endurance - 8
Strength - 6
Tackling - 7
Skills - 4
Marking - 6
Decision making - 4
Awareness/peripheral vision - 3.

If he's sub you're taking away his greatest strength which is endurance, surely he starts and someone that can come on and provide a spark in Switta, Freddy, Dudley, even Cooper or Voss would be a better sub?

Similar to Crowleys stats. Maybe that's how they should be playing him. Of course, Crowls strength, tackling and skills were slightly better.

I don't think his endurance is that great tbh

Look at the Swans game, he was cooked by the end of it, Bice (first year player, mature age tho) ran him wild in that final quarter

What if the Jackson experiment doesn't work?

What if Brayshaw gets concussed 10 minutes in?

It's crazy to go into a game in prime time after being embarrassed on the national stage a week earlier with just two genuine midfielders despite the short comings of your 3rd best available midfielder. Brodie should be in the 22 and if he's not performing sub him out or drop him. You can't keep rebuilding and looking to next year forever.
So Erasmus and Johnson are not midfielders?

Don't rate Narkle, but seems quite stiff to be dropped when others deserved it more.

I like Voss, but I'm not on board on playing Darcy + Jackson and Voss, especially against Collingwood.

Seasons a write off, so definitely open to experimenting and we may as well see if Jackson can play as a midfielder, but I'll be shocked if it works.

Pies will laugh at how tall and slow we are and take the piss out of us.

Voss Treacy and Amiss seem to have better chemistry than Jackson Treacy and Amiss. Make sense. Plus probably have Darcy rotating ruck/bench to monitor his time on ground. Won’t be going forward, you would think.
Jackson is simply too good to be leaving forward with the play happening around halfback midfield. Voss can do that job.

Still haven’t addressed the small forwards issue.
Simpson comes in hopefully at half back

Reid, Switkowski, Dudley, still isn’t ideal. It has to be two and one on the bench or Peel.
The lack of medium forwards really hurt. Sturt amongst this mix would be unique

whats the mundy rumour? first i've heard of this.
There was a rumour that floated around that Mundy probably could have played on and Brodie was quite vocal that he should as he was learning a lot from him. Supposedly this put some noses out of joint and some in the club saw Brodie as a shit stirrer. Never substantiated but something that floated around for a bit.

Its obviously complete bullshit so I have no idea why anyone would bring it up
