I think (or at least hope) the last quarter against the Dogs was a turning point for the season. I think we'll beat them.I just hope we win... very worried about this game, even after the Bombers touched them up.

That both are major leaders (captain, and deputy) can only suggest they are niggle treating or told to have the weekend off or something.Adams & Pendles not at the Pies kids clinic today.......not sure if they have an issue.
I’ve always been a % takes care f itself f you do more right than wrong on the field.Hope we blow them out, haven't had a good % booster since round 2
Pendlebury seems to not get the respect he deserves from some of our own supporters.
Played well on Friday.
When you’re there, you literally see him directing traffic. He still uses sublime guile to move the ball to position.
Cuts the opposition a thousand ways.
Very under appreciated.

ok,I’ve always been a % takes care f itself f you do more right than wrong on the field.
And more wins trumps % as % only truly counts at the end of the season (if there is a tie in points).
I thought by knightmare is more bullish about % than most, viewing it as an indicator of where teams sit in the pecking order.
I’m far more dismissive as some teams are flat track bullies some grinders.
Wins are the best percentage in my view.

We can only call it as we see it.Saintly Viewed I respect and admire Pendles,
Alas i can only go what i see on the TV due to living Interstate.
And this sounds harsh but time has caught him,But hey that's just my opinion which counts for zero.
Fair enough too.ok,
what about I just wanna blow them out because I dont like them?
As funny as lasts years game up at the Gabba was.. lets just blow them out please
What I see, he gets ball and uses it well. Stoppages or in the centre.I'm not sure if anyone who directed traffic in that game deserves kudos...
Absolute champion of the club. Incredibly good and incredibly consistent for a long time, I think he can still be a very very good player for a couple of years, just not sure if centre stoppages are the best place for him to prosper.
Pendles is still elite ,done a fine job on friday night in a game that was scrappy ,Aish imo played his best game this year , so no changes for me except Mayne .We can only call it as we see it.
I totally respect all views.
I’m a very keen watcher of Scott and to me he’s totally up to it and it control.
His vision in traffic still fantastic.
On Friday night, he was still doing the business.
Last season he was still selected in the All Australian final 40 group.
Again to me eye, still elite.
Wonderful decision maker.
I just don’t get the ‘ just hope for a win’Fair enough too.
I didn’t mean to suggest don’t blow a team away, or dig the boot on the throat of a weak opponent;
more about me saying, win games as the first step, and percentage is the cream afterwards.
Totally agree, team performing, no need for wholesale changes. The others - Sier, Wells, Crocker, Daicos, Reid etc - are not ready.
He does handball a lot Apples but by god they are usually special.Sier doesn't get a recall yet for mine. Needs a few weeks of top output. His disposal ratio has always been a bit skewed I reckon. When a man can kick the ball 50 metres off one step, why would he look for so many handpasses? Especially if they are to players in a worse position? It bothered me last year and he's still playing that way it seems. Happy for any analysts to set me straight here.

Anywhere. Stunningly good still.
That’s my take.
I've noticed lately that you seem to be incapable of posting without some sort of personal attack or belittling.I can't argue with people that have no idea on mental health.
You both look extremely ignorant.

That was the reputation that he arrived in the AFL with and what stats had suggested within the VFL, but in the AFL I actually thought the opposite was true and that he tried to kick it too hard off one step too often and miskicks ensued. I thought his handballs tended to be very creative.Sier doesn't get a recall yet for mine. Needs a few weeks of top output. His disposal ratio has always been a bit skewed I reckon. Wouldn't be dropping Brown too quickly.. thought he did a few nice dart moves that others in the side are incapable off.. patience. He's a good player. Let the bugger mature.
We made a gf last year we should blow out a mediocre team for a change please
I lkike the sentiment, but what do you mean by dart moves? Is that beer and ciggie related?
[/QUOTE]We did lose said GF, and Brisbane beat the team that won.
I don't hate it, would be good to see Apples out there again
Can turn on a 5c piece this kid.. good sideways movement.. I like him.. I just think he needs to mature.. there's a few things he did where he was able to change direction at speed with ease.
He'll come good. Surprise a lot of people. Once he learns how to use his aggression.. added bonus as well.
