Changes to Channel 7 programs

I just heard this as a rumour on the radio, and recall reading an article alluding to it in the Herald Sun.

Friday Nights
7:30 - The Game- with Tim Watson as host
8:10 - Footy- with Dermie as host

Monday
Talking Footy- with Bruce as host (YAAAAY!!!!

), and 3 (yes.. three!!!) ... sitting on the couch- Mike, Timmy and Dermot.

If true, I would welcome the changes. I think Friday nights especially, with the footy starting 20 mins earlier will be great and best of all, not having to sit through Sabrina the ***** stupid witch 'til the footy starts. And Bruce hosting Talking footy would just make my day.

Interesting Changes Westy Boy and they seem quite good! Did Bruce leave Talking Footy so he could concentrate his efforts on the Sydney Olympics or was there another reason (Maybe Sportsworld in Sydney on Sunday, then having to be in Melbourne the following day?)

Every time a coach is sacked (sorry .... 'resigned') I think Oh no, he'll be back on the telly soon.

So Dermott, Go for it - You'd be a great coach - but even if you weren't, You'd get back on the telly with twice as many shows as before.

Now all we need on talking footy is someone who will go the whole way and 'snot' Mr fitzroy-killer on the nose. Fat Jason gets my vote

Or even worse - someday soon Mr Judge and Mr Ayres could have their own TV show. "conan and the judge" The most popular segment would be the 'make them laugh segment' where Billy Brownless does fart Jokes, throws pies, trying to make the two hosts laugh - first one to laugh gives $5,000 to the other's nominated charity.

They could make it a threesome with Mr 'personality' Malthouse when he gets the 'chop' from collingwood.

Q. Why does it take a coach much longer than the supporters to realise they are no good and should resign ?

a. It takes a few weeks to line up a TV contract.

Oh shit - he better lift his game is all I can say, I really hope he contributes something useful instead of his usual glib throw away lines.

Programming changes sound good - not that it matters to me anyway. "Friday night footy" starts on Sydney TV at 12.15 am Saturady morning

Derm has a much better coaching record than Watson - 2/2 as International Rules coach!

Is Dougie Hawkins getting a gig with Channel 7 next year? Maybe they might bring back Peter Landy after commentating at the Olympics.

Doug Hawkins won't be on Seven next year.Tim Watson has taken his spot.Doug will only be on MMM.

They won't have 3 on the couch on Talking Footy otherwise they'll be talking over each other more than they do now.

Maybe [HOPEFULLY} they might get rid off 'Noddy' Sheahan.Does anyone like Sheahan ?
