1. The new qualifying system of 1 lap per car - IMHO awesome. I really hope the new broadcaster pick it up on delay at least, it will be great to watch. At least show the pole lap in full before the race. I've been to the Charles Dickens Tavern a couple of times and watching the cars on the ragged edge is fantastic to watch.

2. New points system - Neither here or there. Hard to see it making a big difference, may even make it a bit worse because moving from 2nd to 1st is only worth 2 points - mightn't see so much desparation to actually win the race.

However, with 3 teams always so dominant the battles for 7th and 8th will take on greater significance, and hopefully get shown a bit more.

3. No team orders - Good in theory. Whether they are policed is the key. I remember Schumacher overtaking Irvine because he had a "brake problem" in Austria a few years back, it was done subtley so they got away with it.

4. No Belgian GP - Disgrace, even if it is only for 1 year. Best GP on the calender by a mile.

I like it.

2. New points system

Doesn't really award the winner. But if your consistent enough you will still win. I was watching that V8 show on ten a couple of weeks back and they were talking about possible changes to the V8 supercars points. On one of them Ambrose was only 2 points behind Skaife  and would have won the championship if he finished infront of Skaife at Bathurst.

3. No team orders

Who is to stop Ferrari from taking just that little bit longer on Ruben's car when he pits?

That's a good inovation. Gives the good drivers in the lesser cars a chance to pull out that one flying lap - could see Minardi drivers higher that 18th next season. They should give an extra point for pole though.

Outrage will follow when a Ferrari or a Williams blows an engine in the Monza GP Qualifying when fighting for the championship.

Should be good with the midfield runners fighting over the last 4 spots in the points, instead of the last 1 or 2. Also gives top 10 consistency a chance to play a part.

Didn't they outlaw that a couple of years back? You can police it, but teams will still do it. They'll find a way around it.

NO!!! Spa is the best racing circuit in Europe. Its all about tobacco sponsorship, so hopefully they can clean the mess up for 2004. With the new tracks in Bahrain and China, and Russia building a new track, the odds of it coming back after 2004 would be very short.

The Hungrian GP is still there - that must have the "Daniel McAlister" Lucky Charm there as well!!:D :D

like them except not Spa - it was the best GP! :(

LUV the qualfying idea - like the top 10 shootout in V8

v8 has to change - same point all the way with a bit more for enduro races
