TOB for Keath is exactly what happens when you have a balanced squad it means genuine competition for spots with genuine options

Jones Gardner Keath TOB Bruce provide competition for spots

Naughton Lobb JUH Darcy JOD provide competition for spots

Welcome to real depth with players playing in their proper positions

I probably would have preferred Cleary over O’Brien considering their talls are out and we have JOD who can swing back. But this is the best set up possible for TOB, don’t really need Keath this week so a genuine 3rd tall over him is a good move. TOB should have a field day aerially if he’s half decent.

I don’t love the super tall forward line considering the usual standard of games here but hopefully it works out and we allow JOD to get involved. Sub just has to be McNeil so we have that flexibility to change up the structure if it’s not working.

3 games in a row as sub for McNeil isn’t ideal but he’s a really good fit for the role

Can we take it for granted that Keath is a proper omission. There may be dual objectives here. They didn't want TOB to miss a week through the VFL bye and they also wanted O'Donnell to play again at this level (and also not have a bye) with an opportunity to play back.

Perhaps Keath is a rotational omission for the greater good, being JOD. Given that all other emergencies played 100 minutes last week at some level, and, in Cleary's case, there is an abundance of HBFs, McSteal, having played little more than a quarter last week, is 100% the sub.

It’s always a worry when there’s no melting on here.
WHY'D WE *IN DROP KEATH GOD DAMN IT HIS BEEN SOLID SINCE 2020 AND FOR TIM O BRIAN HAWKTHORN REJECT?

Sack, Bevo, now. Match commitee have no idea what they're doing.

Why can't Sweet get a run his a better tap ruckman than English and honestly English was beaten up vs Carlton he doesn't deserve his spot anyway.

That seemed like a genuine melt

All caps, spelling errors, calls to sack the coach. This is high quality melting.

What's the early weather prediction??
Wet and windy as normal in Ballart in winter(drop a tall KPD for Clearly) or fast track(keep the current team??

We've played the Crows as the home team 23 times (VUWO, MCG, Docklands, Mars) for a 18-5 win-loss record. Biggest win was 84 points in 1994 at VUWO.

We've played them 3 times at Mars:
34 pt win in 2019
49 pt win in 2021
1 pt loss in 2022

That's a net +82 at Mars.

With their outs, and for our percentage's sake this year, we need that +82 to have increased significantly by Saturday night.

I mistakenly flicked onto 360 tonight. I was surprised and relieved to not be confronted by the haggard and slobbering Robbo but rather the considerably more aesthectically pleasing Kath something or other (she of the fine pins). Anyways, they got to the Dogs game and both pundits, Jack and Jordan, appeared to be in the Crows camp. Neither seemed to take into account the Crows outs and thought the upstart Crows mids would be a match for ours. Maybe they'll prove to be correct but I don't think so.

Reality check coming the Crows way. It's business time at the kennel.

Less concerned about percentage at this stage. We still have North, West Coast and Hawthorn to play, can make it against them.
