I think we should rest Goody this week. He had shouldered a massive load this year and could do with a rest. Bring in Ross Lyon as guest coach for the week.

Joel Smith has the pace to replace Hunt. Is also taller and better.

We're going to have to carry Team Smith with A11dAtP0w3R slacking off.holy sh*t yes
Players play sore all the time. Top 4 is locked in and we are playing Adelaide. I wouldn’t be resting someone for the sake of it, but if anyone’s been carrying anything it’s a perfect time to freshen up for the cats the following week. Cats have been managing their geriatrics all season, Selwood recently. Salem was said to be carrying something earlier in the year so he could he one, TMac as I said.Stupid talk resting players now. As TK says they’ll get at least one week off before finals. We traditionally play good football with packed schedules anyway.
There's nothing like a Joel Smith inclusion out of nowhereJoel Smith has the pace to replace Hunt. Is also taller and better.
If we beat the Crows and Cats and finish top, we most likely play Port, very winnable game with a rest before and after.Stupid talk resting players now. As TK says they’ll get at least one week off before finals. We traditionally play good football with packed schedules anyway.
Exactly. We should be aiming for this exact scenario. So resting players probably not a great idea unless a player has massive niggles..If we beat the Crows and Cats and finish top, we most likely play Port, very winnable game with a rest before and after.
I don't think Goodwin wants to flirt with form. He said he wanted to build winning culture. To me sounds like he wants to go into finals winning the last four. Pretty sure this was a response to someone asking about resting players.Stupid talk resting players now. As TK says they’ll get at least one week off before finals. Who caresIf we lose to Geelong in the last round I reckon we get Geelong again in the qf. The way the situation is with covid I reckon Geelong will get their way and the game will be at kp or does the mcg get their way despite no crowd.
Would prefer to avoid to Geelong at kp. If you don't care then just ignore it.Who cares
Hunt out for four weeks.
Rough for anyone getting injured this time of year. Means he could be in selection mix for week 2/3 of finals at least.Hunt out for four weeks.
What's the point of this hypothetical? What if there wasn't a pre-finals bye... would we rest players this week?
Yeah anyone anywhere is great but I'd ****ing rather Port at the G than the Cats at Kardinia. No point making it harder than it has to beWould prefer to avoid to Geelong at kp. If you don't care then just ignore it.
The pre-finals bye was only brought in because teams that had already locked in their ladder position chose to rest players before finals. What if there wasn't a pre-finals bye... would we rest players this week?
