In comes Roberts , Clay And TBoyd .

Watch on Libba and B Williams .

Out goes Dickson , Rough (as much as it pains me but Campbell is rucking quite well) and JJ . watching teams physical beat jj up over the last month has been disturbing . Bob played the running half back role quite well today . JJ should of been moved positionaly weeks ago , I feel he was set up somewhat. We will know by half time in tomorrow's game who is likely to come in for Friday nights game . If Libba comes up, honey comes out .

I'm going to be an odd one out but I the chopping and changing hasn't worked all year so I'd be inclined to not go to hard with the omissions, and besides Roberts most of the guys in the seconds have struggled as much as the guys who played today when they've had their opertunities.
I'm not writing the season off yet but we are in trouble.

Ins..Roberts and T.Boyd (Boyd needs to play forward more though)
Out..Roughead and Suckling.

If Libba or Smith in particular kill it tomorrow they'll have to come back but I wouldn't bring them in unless that's the case. If someone earns Honeys spot they can take it.

Out: players who are shirking the contest

JJ - needs to show some balls and work through pressure
Stringer - needs to put head over the ball and stop shirking the contest
Campbell - unlucky but Roughead not a backman but is a more valuable ruckman
Honeychurch - works hard but no impact at afl level
Dickson - I don't know if he's unfit due to late start Buck doesn't look close

In - players with grit

Boyd T - 2nd ruckman is valuable
Smith - need his toughness
Boyd M - need his thoughness
Roberts - better backman than Roughead
Libba - need his impact inside

It was toughness that won a flag last year and our squad at present doesn't reflect those values. a few in the team are not showing this at present and it is killing these rest of the team that works. Cannot carry players who don't perform when the non-negotiable a are not there across such a wide range of players.

After an Adelaide smashing where we cannot buy a free kick, the season is well and truly over being at least a game and percentage out

NO CHANGE.

West Coast had easily their best 22 in today where as we
had multiple injuries to key players.:'(

I have nothing which is just a smidgen more then Bevo at
present.

Need to see how the VFL boys go today. Given also Bevo mentioned that these guys will be on a 6 day break, it may restrict how many would come in.

If Liber was just suffering a cork, you'd think he comes in. Roberts I think must come in so we can play Roughy as ruck/forward. Dicko is not right so I expect him to be an out, and Honeychurch would be the other.

Let's be honest. Potential outs are queueing up. Potential ins are playing today. Unless the "possibles" flog the Pies , we are playing musical chairs.

I really want from VFL game:-
Lippy to shine
Toyd to kick 5 in half a game ( managed minutes apparently)
Williams and Webb to be rampant attacking HB's.
Roberts to be the Defence General

Then watch the axe wielding Mc pick a team to "have a crack".

If JJ's papers are not already signed elsewhere then dropping him would probably make his decision to depart a whole lot easier.

I would not drop him. I would change his role.

I think both parties will know where it's at by now.
My feeling is he's out the door.
Maybe Fronk can buy into this , if he sees the post.
He seems to have a good handle how it all works ?

We still have reasonable depth. I guess the good news is that we can drop under performing senior players but still bring in AFL standard players.
They may be AFL standard but at the present that's a low standard. Just now, with the lack of intent I see in the '1sts', I would select the hungriest players, regardless of their standard.

He has to work through this. All moving him forward does is make his opponent a defensive defender instead.

Based off the VFL today Toyd & Webb are ins. Roberts should also come in I think, as others have said, he was harshly dropped in the first place.

Can't comment on the outs yet as I haven't watched the game.

I still want Cordy forward. He's exactly what we need. If he doesn't mark it he'll crash in and his second efforts are fierce and determined. We desperately need someone to buy us time in the forward 50 to stop the pathetic rebounds to the other end. I know he was brilliant yesterday in defence but Roberts is reliable enough to stick in there.

Roughead staying in defence makes me think the match committee have lost their marbles but I suppose stocks are thin.

Suckling??????

Hahahahah deadset some people

Yeah let's drop the bloke with the 6th best disposal average in the team

2nd most marks

2nd most inside 50s

And just to clarify 7th in clangers and 10th is efficiency.

Out: anyone who has been soft recently.
In: anyone who'll run through a brick wall to win the footy. Watch some of the other games, they are playing with the hunger we had last year. Tough teams win flags, always.
And not on reputation, if Picko has been soft recently? Maybe have a spell. Suckling and Dickson to surely miss.

I don't care what the changes are provided Matthew Boyd comes back in. Proven leadership and experience and now two consecutive games as BOG in the VFL. If it wasn't for the "old man" bias some have against him every single poster would be calling for his inclusion.
