He already does, doesn't he?And take his own football to each game
Well, I think it is sensible to have Adams and Morris resume through the VFL. Both have missed lots of footy. With Adelaide's outs and some wet weather, I don't know what to think of this game. Could be a shocker to watch, but I think we would all take an ugly win.
Beveridge is lieing then?Reports say that Morris has been training at full tilt for two weeks. I reckon he'll come in.

read my response to LibbaLuke Beveridge: "There might be another change or two, but I hope you'll let me reserve my right until the side is released at the end of the day..."

EASTON Wood will return from a hamstring injury for the Western Bulldogs in Friday night's clash with Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.
While the captain will play his first game since the round six win over Carlton, veteran defender Dale Morris will resume through the VFL in his return from a partially torn ACL sustained at training in February.
Injury-prone key defender Marcus Adams will join Morris in the Footscray side to play Werribee in his return from ankle ligament damage picked up in the pre-season.
Remember his first game against Norf he came on late as a substitute and he laid a great run down tackle on someone (similar to the Callum Mills GF first goal) and I was thinking we got the good brother here (apologies to Ayce )!I’m not sure why we would move Cordy out of defence. Really he is just about a ten year lock on the 2nd/3rd tall defensive position.
In my mind he shares some Glenn Archer traits, tough and aggressive with a team first attitude.
Especially as Clarko is getting the rules changed for him! We should bring him in against the Hawks to see if Stratton and co try blocking him.For mine wood and Morris come in, can’t see either playing through the 2s
Trengove is the other one, does Bev give him an extra week? He has mentioned in the past that we tend to give guys that extra week.
As for schache he’s 20, yes he’s kicked 6 goals in the past 2 week. It’s ok to keep a young tall developing in the VFL, let him keep gaining experience against guys his own age.
DON’T rush him

We seem set on playing him as a ruck/forward but even then I'd like him in the team this week.Really concerning for Trengove if he still can't get a game with Naughton, Adams, Roberts and Collins injured or out of form![]()
From the limited vision I have seen of Trengove playing for us I would prefer Roughead in the team playing ruck as he can take a good grab around the ground. We seem set on playing him as a ruck/forward but even then I'd like him in the team this week.
We look much more dangerous with Boyd forward, Trengove would facilitate this.

I'm hearing Moz is in.
ACL tear (partial but still) and returns before the bye. This man is not the same species as the rest of us.

Beveridge said VFL earlier?
2020/21 is where this team is building towards.I agree if he’s not playing well enough or there’s not the right role then he shouldn’t play.
I don’t buy he’s not physically capable when he’s in his 3rd year and has been able to play 27 games at that level already and we’re also happy to play Naughton and Young in key positions at a younger age (as we also did with Cordy).
2018 is an important year but I don’t think you’re disagreeing so much on that in saying it’s a write off - i interpret that more as saying not expecting senior games. I can live with that although I’d prefer him to be playing a few this year.
As for 2020/21 that seems a bit long. 2020 would be his 5th year of football - but if you’re saying that’s when you want him consistently performing not just starting to get games then again I can live with that.
English looked cooked against the Suns.Makes no sense playing him in this role when we should be pumping games into English. English and Boyd have proven to be the future of the ruck/forward roles for the club.
I don’t dislike Trengrove as a player but I hated the acquisition, when we all knew he wasn’t a substantial enough upgrade in any position on the park to be a significant player for us.
I remember back in the day when the Bears first came into the competition someone said that they were going to lose to Footscray at the Western Oval because they were used to seeing beautiful people up on the Gold Coast and would be frightened by the faces in the crowd! Now that I no longer live there, I can like this post...

He's doing well as a 20 year old ruck to have even debuted, developing him for a few weeks in the VFL isn't going to hurt him.
He's 207cm, clearly a long term player and we don't want to 'Josh Fraser' him into the ground too early.
