Not just you. My favourite player.Am I the only one with sympathy for Porps or are there others out there.
It's with a heavy heart that I agree he is on the knifes edge.
It is not with a heavy heart that I agree Vince should remain sidelined for a few more weeks.

Mine too. He's got too much class to not turn it around though. Not just you. My favourite player.
Would love to see him turn it around but running out of chances I fear
Exactly, Vince needs to prove he can perform consistently over a number of weeks. Bringing him back proves nothing only that Vince doesn't need to fear demotion, at worst all that will happen is he'll be dropped for no more than a game, as he can dominate SANFL without breaking a sweat. Vince's issue is not talent, nor form, he's the type of player who can flick the switch at any point and turn from average player to superstar in the blink of an eye, that's if he's got the right mindset.
Steve Johnson was a similar case for Geelong, Johnson was for the most part a nothing player until he was banned for a number of weeks by the club. He was forced to face a life without football and he decided he really wanted football. Vince is a similar level talent who has been allowed to coast along for far too long. Sure we've dropped/suspended him for a week here or there, but he's always known he'd be back soon, all he'd need to do was put in for a week or two.
We need to force him to decide if he really wants to play AFL, or whether he's happy to waste his talent playing at a lower level. He needs 5 weeks in the SANFL minimum to show that he can perform to a high level consistently and not just enough to keep his spot in the side.
I worry that Sando may not have the kahuna's to do such a thing. I hope he proves me wrong, as a Vince truly committed to the cause could quickly become our most important player.
This week, with Crouch out I'd look at:
In: Lyons, Smith
Out: Crouch, Porplyzia
Smith to be sub, slowly work him back into it.
I suggest you re-watch the games.
Essendon - both were poor.
Brisbane - both OK.
Port - Jaensch > Brown
Bulldogs - both good.
Not much in. Personally I have Jaensch just ahead.
To say Jaensch has had 1 respectable game v 3 for Brown is strteching the truth a long way!
Shame they dont have stats for their direct opponent in there....

Brown was quite a lot better in the Brisbane game. Suggesting that they were on par in that game is ridiculous. Almost half of Brisbane's score came from Jaensch's direct opponent. My impression from watching the games was that Brown was quite a bit better, but the stats dont support it:
http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/...d1=3628&tid2=2&pid2=3418&type=A&fid1=S&fid2=S
Considering Brown has generally had the more defensive role on the more dangerous forward I'd say that makes them pretty even. Shame they dont have stats for their direct opponent in there....

Jaensch's opponent would kick a quick bag of 2-3, so they'd swap Brown onto him, silencing the player almost immediately. Then Jaensch's new opponent proceeded to do the same thing. They tag teamed him all day. It was an outstanding effort which would have seen his standings in the Reverse Brownlow rise dramatically.
Vader dosent actually watch the games so take that into consideration when reading his dribble.Just thought I'd check this as it wasn't my recollection of the game. 3 players kicked two goals, Martin, Zorko and Green. Martin's 2 goals were against Rutten. One of Green's was against Brown and one I couldn't tell who was on him as Petrenko was his direct opponent when he scored. Zorko's came from the midfield although Brown was his opponent in one (where the wrong decision was made against Wright encroaching on the mark which gave them that dodgy 50m penalty). To say that Jaensch's opponents kicked 2-3 goals multiple times is just wrong. That doesn't mean I think Jaensch is a good defender nor that I think Brown is not better. I'd just try and demonstrate it with facts rather than skewed recollections of the game.

If Bernie "Lazy hack" Vince plays this week instead of Lyons, Lyons should seek a trade. What kind of message does that send to the team.
Hey you work your arse off for over a season, proving that you are too good for SANFL, but nah you're not getting selected.
Hey you're a lazy shit who has been cruising well below your potential for 4 years and you've been dropped and played somewhat ok for 1 game in a dominant side like the downhill skier you are, welcome back to the team!!!
I'd like BF to create a filter so I can only read posts made by Carl between the hours of 11pm and 3am! That's when the real inspiration/desperation shines through.Don't go back Sando.
The only thing behind us is failed campaigns.
Go forward! Fear not what the future holds.
I've got a few other things from history I wouldn't mind you rewriting if you have the time?Brown was quite a lot better in the Brisbane game. Suggesting that they were on par in that game is ridiculous. Almost half of Brisbane's score came from Jaensch's direct opponent.

Both Jaensch & Brown are young & there is a place for them both if performing. You talk like Jaensch is close to retirement age.Depends where you are in your premiership window. If you're not in the premiership window then every day of the week you should take the up and coming youngster, who appears to have a good upside, over the 3rd tier average, more experienced player. If you are in your premiership windows then the decision is 50/50, although, personally, I would still pick the youngster.

Not true.. but we all know you love making up lies about me.Vader dosent actually watch the games so take that into consideration when reading his dribble.
My recollection is that Zorko's goals were both kicked when Jaensch was his direct opponent - even if he wasn't in the same postcode as his opponent (which says a lot about Jaensch's ability to mind his man). Zorko's influence on the game was reduced to zero when Brown was moved onto him, replacing Jaensch.Just thought I'd check this as it wasn't my recollection of the game. 3 players kicked two goals, Martin, Zorko and Green.
