Lyons and Smack named for the crows as outs for Glenelg

Smith and Vince named as outs fir WWT and Stiffy not named as an in for port magpies.

Porps didn't play fir West today.

Still doesn't tell anything.

I take from that that all 5 (the 4 outs plus stiffy) will come into the 25 man squad so at least 2 changes (Crouch and at least one other).

Smack and Stiffy wont be in. so 2 or 3 of Lyons, Smith and Vince.

I guess that is all we would have expected changes to cone from anyway though!

Would be a pity if Porps was an out but didnt get an SANFL game due to it being played today (but understandable given how early they would have needed to make that call)

Looks like the Crouch injury might have saved Porps.

No, I'm thinking

Lyons in for the injured Crouch and Smith in for Porps and will start as the sub.

Porps to have a rest as I feel his ulcer in his gut is still giving him trouble. They will give him a break and then reevaluate his fitness.

That'd be perfect. Hopefully.

My recollection is that Zorko's goals were both kicked when Jaensch was his direct opponent - even if he wasn't in the same postcode as his opponent (which says a lot about Jaensch's ability to mind his man). Zorko's influence on the game was reduced to zero when Brown was moved onto him, replacing Jaensch.

Very hard, bordering on impossible to know who is playing on who from TV.

Even harder to see when a change has been made

Well, as expected, we took the soft option and brought Vince back.

Well, at least they brought Smith back in, and gave the other kids a chance. Poor Lyons though, must be wondering what else he could do

Sigh. Another one of Sando's hard calls.

So if Vince stinks again do we get another awkward Johncock situation?

The thing is, he'll have a blinder this week and then resume normal transmission in the following rounds when he has earnt his gold pass back, only to be dropped for a paltry week. It stinks

Vince better burn it up as lucky to get an immediate recall.

Honestly, what else does Lyons have to do? If Vince is brought in on the logic of "experience", then how will Lyons ever gain said "experience" if he's never played?
FFS .....look at the team makeup  .......how many rookies do you want to play .....how about we play all the rookies inc Siggins and dump all the experience

The club has been great in holding 4 rookies ....i was not a fan of Vince being recalled so early but really we needed to add experience to the midfield against what is a highly experienced Carlton midfield

In terms of additions ......why are people once again forgetting Riley ....superb game last week and the kid has obviously shed some weight and is covering the ground much quicker
He was laboring across the ground PS ....so obviously has shed the weight recently

Very disapointed Vince has been recalledafter just one week in the magoos, so much for sending the tosser a serious message to extract the digit big time and play like his football life depended on it!! No doubt he'll get plenty of "cheap" touches.....

Right calls in my humble opinion. Carlton will be hard to beat. Another great test for us. Lyons will get his chance in due course.
