Who has criticised Khamis for being slow? He makes slow decisons, but has anyone really questioned his pace?
Many, unfortunately.

Half the size??? 1 cm taller and the same weight as Weitering. Weitering got there over time by regularly playing in the AFL.
Your talking about playing alongside Lobb and JOD, I am talking about moving Lobb forward and him playing alongside JOD only and have only ever said that. Cleary definitely can not play that role, so if they are not looking to move Lobb forward of course Buss is out. However, it was necessary against GWS, that option is essentially removed.
Given he replaced Jones I don't think Jones is now in front of him
He was not off the pace against GWS and that was his first game at that level, so I am not sure how he can be thought of as slow after one game and a cameo in another
Slight difference is that Busslinger is 3-4cm taller than both with a decent reach. It's why he was considered a top 20 draft prospect without that raw athleticism/speed/jumping ability of the Lever types - the height still offers some value there.Weitering has legs like tree trunks, he’s incredibly strong in standing his ground against KPFs. Busslinger is nowhere near his size or strength, nor his competitiveness. I’m not really fussed what measurements the clubs put out say, you just need to look at each of them and watch them play. Weitering is simply a better player too.
Could Busslinger get there? Maybe. But I think it’s wishful thinking. It’s not really how he’s ever played. He was drafted as an interceptor, playing more like a Josh Worrell or Jake Lever. His good kicking has meant he’s always taken kick outs, so he has these high disposal numbers. His positioning was good at U18 level, but I’ve just never been convinced that he has the athleticism and agility to excel in the interceptor role at AFL level. He’s less gifted athletically than Lever, for example. So I think he’ll probably need time to add the size to become a sturdier KPD in a more traditional sense. Which may take years.
Yeah, hoping so, a player increasing productivity suddenly usually signals that something has clickedJones had 24 disposals in the VFL. This is double his normal output, so maybe something has clicked for him.

Bevo mentioned in the press conference that he has had three good weeks and he told Arthur this isn’t a charity selection because of Sir Douglas Nicholls or anything. Everybody wants him to succeed so let’s hope he can!Yeah, hoping so, a player increasing productivity suddenly usually signals that something has clicked
I agree. He's such a lovable character, everyone wants him to succeed. But he will need to have a good game tonight. If arty could make it all click it’d be huge.
We’ve seen glimpses that were super exciting and his energy is awesome for the group.
Anyone know if it’ll be hard to find seats tonight? Brother and I have Doggies GA memberships.
