Hill hasn't done to much wrong but does having Hill, Lecra and Cripps all in at once make us more 1 dimensional up forward? Now that Lecra is playing closer to goal we lack that forward who can go in the midfield so maybe that is Mutimers role?

High-intensity forward Jamie Cripps has been recalled for West Coast’s battle with the Bombers at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Cripps will suit up for the round nine clash despite missing West Coast’s previous three matches due to a serious ankle injury.

Eagles medical staff originally thought Cripps might spend up to eight weeks on the sidelines after suffering a syndesmosis injury during the club’s round five loss to Hawthorn.

But the resolute 25-year-old bounced back faster than expected and resumed main training just one week after limping off the MCG.

Cripps comes into the side at the expense of Josh Hill, who was omitted from the starting 22.

Hill has been listed as an emergency for the clash, along with veteran ruckman Drew Petrie and live-wire defender Jackson Nelson.

Hill probably doesnt deserve the chop but good to see mutimer in. Hopefully dropping these fringe senior players help rejuvenate them. Hill in the past has played his best footy when dropped or knows that he has some serious heat.

Honestly glad they didn't dump McInnes either. He didn't deserve the chop for Petrie after a good return last week. It may be tough on Drew's hand, but I think Frase offered us more last week than The Dish did in round 1.
