When Mutimer gets dropped, it will be for his defensive stuff.

I'm feeling pretty confident that we'll get the job done but Essendon's smalls will definitely cause us some headaches. Tippa is the real threat imo - unlike the others, he spends much more time running off a wing or even a half-back flank and can kill teams on the turnover if he gets loose. Wouldn't mind seeing Muts spend some time on him
I like Mutimer but this would be a death sentence. Tank is Kurt's weakest point at present from my viewing. It is probably Tippa's strongest.
I watched Tippa live at Etihad last year vs the Saints. His workrate was higher than Nroo and Tippa has only got better since then.

The top 8 are quite even this year. Wininng 16 out of 22 with high percentage probably will get us into the top 2. We should really aiming at the top 2 position, win all the home finals, then worry about the MCG later. With the way the seeming contenders over the opening rounds have all seemingly hit landmines (Crows look like the new invincibles one round, then 0-64 QT v Norf, then 7 goal loss at home to Dees! Cats three losses in a row, Tiges three hilarious losses in a row, GWS lose to Saints), it really seems like it's still anyone's year. I wonder how far the Eagles can go. Obviously need to sort out some of that MCG form...
Going to be interesting coming up against Woosha and the Bombers boys. They've been as up and down as anyone else this year, but their good is pretty good - as the Cats can attest. We're a decent team at Etihad, though, and I'd like to think that we can win this one.
He got a solid hip and shoulder by Redpath there. If darling doesn't stop this shit

Then I'd be more inclined to drop him than Mcinness to make way for Petrie once he's had a WAFL game or two to earn his spot
I'm over jacks flopping about, it's just downright embarrassing. He's still best 22 because he can do some good things and can be relied upon for a couple of goals but he needs to elevate his game by being strong at the contest more consistently
He did, but his head did flop back in a second motion... It was a solid bump though. He got a solid hip and shoulder by Redpath there.

Like your reasonsing. However, why slow midfield is not a problem at other grounds? The web isn't the whole story as to why we struggle at the G. The issue is our midfield is too slow to implement the web properly at the G because of the wider expanses of the ground. The web relies on the pressure applied upfield by the mids to create "dirty ball" coming into the opposition forwards. That allows our backs to zone off and get across to spoil. The times we get cut up is when there's no pressure on the ball carrier upfield, which allows teams like Hawthorn to deliver the ball quickly to forwards with no pressure. The Hawks midfield isnt the quickest either, but their ball use is one of the best so they tear us up on the G. If we had a bit more pace in the guts, the web would work much better at the G.
Changes:
Out: Priddis, Redden
In: Cripps, Nelson

Its easier to shut down the space when there is less of it, hence we play better at subi which is a thinner ground.
On AFL.com, the Access All Areas highlighted this and the comment was "one Jack is tougher than the other Jack".If darling doesn't stop this shit
