After watching parts of the SANFL game today there is no chance Peds comes back in. The reasons he got dropped (particularly his inability to hit a target and be composed with ball in hand) followed him into the SANFL.

Yes he had 18 disposals but very little of these actually hit of target or didn’t go out on the full.

Assuming Crouch is suspended we'll see Berry in, 100%.

Only player who would potentially be dropped is McHenry, and it would be for Berry. So in case of the suspension I'm not sure, maybe McHenry survives. Or maybe he's out for either Pedlar or Dowling.

Laird probably feels entitled to play midfield, he’s carried our midfield for 3 years. He was on SEN in preseason saying the kids will just pinch hit.

We need to play this guys to their strengths. Laird at HB has been retired, he should take McHenrys role where he can still win the footy, pressure and tackle but at a much higher level.

Dawson is lost as a midfielder, his strengths are marking and kicking (hopefully). Champion data says he played 54% fwd today which hopefully continues.

One of Crouch/Laird at cbas is important, they are still our best first possession guys who can dish it out to Soligo/Rankine.

They should consider Dawson in the third target Gollant/Burgess roll next week. And a 'nearest warm body' policy for the backup ruck.

IMO I don't think we waste any games on - Parnell, Sholl, McHenry and Borlase.

I’ve loved Berry’s intensity when he comes on as sub. I’m not sure he has the tank to do it for four quarters, so maybe he stays sub?
