Can't see us making too many unforced changes after a win like that. But Mchenry just has to come out after that performance. I am worried Nicks is going to keep him in until Murphy is back though.

Out - Crouch and Mchenry
In - Dowling and Pedlar.

Berry into the starting 22 to cover Crouch's spot in the middle, Laird to remain out of the middle as much as possible. I'd be ok to see Dowling start as Sub, or Pedlar would be another good option.

I don't think it's in Nicks's playbook. Ned will stay somehow. unless Murphy is available.

Also, McHenry OUT, to be replaced by anybody with a bigger body and even reasonable skills.
Could not be worse or have less impact than Ned.

Hell, if we have to, play a man short. Anything, but McHenry again.
It'd create space for our youth to be creative with and eliminate McHenry's mistakes and ineptitude.

Our brainless coaches probably can't wrap their heads around, swapping Mchenry for Curtin as they are not 'like for like'.

Dear lord , please bring Pedlar in for Crouch, seeing you have blessed us with a one match suspension and clearly removed obstacles that Nicks could not do himself, please just play Luke as a pure midfielder and stop Nicks from hurting his career any further. While we are praying can Billy Dowling get a spot in our team instead of McHenry as Ned must surely find a place in AFL purgatory..

Going to be an interesting battle of the coaches this weekend.

Listening to Buckley this morning, after Rozee and JHF tore Essendon a new one, against the Bulldogs they sent two of the younger lesser mids to close check Bont and Libba. Worked on Bont which bloody cost me a multi.

If they choose the same tactic, Rankine will cop one. Given lack of experience will be interesting to see how he handles it. Would the other go to Laird or Soligo?

How will be combat it? Merrett kills us every time, should we send some one to him in a similar role?

My changes having settled down would be:

Out: Crouch, McHenry, Butts (if injured or potentially if not injured either - he was pretty average on Saturday)
In: Dowling, Peds (sub), Curtin (if Butts is out)

I feel bad for Peds - he’s punished because of Nix rd 1-4 shit game plan. Give him a go with this game plan.

Curtin is not a KPD - needs to play the sweeper role. Either that or play him in the SANFL in the midfield / wing. I’m worried he’s gonna get the “spend a year learning how to defend” treatment. Then our coaches realise he’s an attacking player and we’ve just wasted a year of his career.
