So Uebergang is the only tall on our list not to play a game this year.

Based on what he did at Domain on the weekend he didn't warrant being elevated although RTB mentioned last week that he was going well at Peel. He will get a chance when he strings a few more games together same with Mora.

Is Tanner really showing something? Reports on him this year have been pretty mixed.

if we play that squad this saturday... thats 10 blokes under 25 in that 22. Walters, Hill,, clarke, suban are all 26 years old. so thats 14 blokes aged 26 and under.

Nope, I reckon the loss of Pav is the tipping point and my footy tip needs to be changed. Brissy have been ok at home without winning against good opposition (let alone knackered) and just awful away from home.

I'm tipping Lions, pretty much guarantees Dockers second win. Get on them while it's hot folks.

I hate the hawks but I chucked 100 on them at $6. So if the hawks win I win cash. if hawks lose. i am fine.

It won't be so much what Tanner does - though, if he does amazing things then bring it on.

As long as he is better than our resting ruck over the years (the bar is set low), he's an improvement on our forward structure. He'd have to really muff it, kick 0.3 and be in everyone's way for me to be yelling at the tv.

Tabs however, has some pretty big shoes to fill this weekend, kicking to Pav and subbing him out/dropping him from the squad all the time was not good preparation for occasions like this. As long as we put the ball in front of him rather than on his head, he might take a few marks, more than anything though, stop Brisbane marking in our forward line and give our crumbers opportunities and he's done his bit - though one can hope for more.

Quite like giving Tanner a game now with Hannath and Zac Clarke in the side. Every chance that he outperforms Hannath and keeps his spot when Pav comes back in.

Hannath and Smith to each kick four and both end up traded to Brisbane with our fourth for their 2nd round pick.

Hannath doesn't actually have to do anything. This is more to do with Ross's observation last week that 3 talls bring the smalls into the game a lot more. So he'll be banking on Walters, Weller and Ballas to be pretty lively. Oh and for Mayne to bring demonic pressure cos otherwise the ball is walzing out of there. Big test for the mids to step up defensively this week.

Honest question... Is this Hannaths last chance to prove he can stay on the list?

In some ways Hannath is probably a better bet than Clarke (to me anyway!).
I have my fingers crossed that he grabs the opportunity with both hands and performs for us, cements a spot for the rest of the season and becomes a realistic choice as a Sandi understudy next year.
Wishful thinking, but hey!...I am an optimist !

This has to be the youngest team we've put on the park in a long time and the first time in years we've had all of Pavlich, Sandi & Mcpharlin not playing.

Will be a good test for the guys. If it was a top 8 team I would've said the game was over before it started but it's Brisbane, we are still in with a chance

Say what you like about big Jack but he is more consistent and less injury prone than Zarke. He could take a hint from Apeness and start crashing some packs and secure himself a spot on the list for another year at least.

Pav and Griffen out has swayed me to think Brisbane will get the job done at home though.

Hannath is consistent at being bog average. It was Clarke who tore the rucks apart for Peel. Less injury prone is the only thing going for big Jack.
