Is Ben Ken in for sure? It could be Maynard straight swap
It still remains to be seen at this point, looks like Goody didn't mention it in his presser just before. I think its more based off Kennedy's performance in the VFL last week - 35 disposals, 8 clearances, 8 inside 50's and 3.2 - being too hard to ignore and not give him a game this week. Usually around 5pm final teams are released I believe.

I thought he had been in pretty good form all year though? Either him or Maynard is the like for like replacement

ANB has found his niche as a hard working HFF. I've changed my mind about him he's been one of our most important players and I reckon it's wasting his talents putting him into the congestion when he's been doing a brilliant job as a link man

I disagree. His best role is as an inside mid, but he isn't as good as our primary inside mids so he has added strings to his bow.

On the other hand, BenKen is best as an outside mid/HF.

He wasn't badly out of form in his career worst season in those.
We specialise in playing guys back into form. Seriously though you will dominate the inside 50's so it's fair to expect Hogan will get plenty of chances. And we don't defend that well against smalls either. Garlett could get a bag.

He's short, not powerful or strong and doesn't have great vision. Seems like a waste of time him getting 25 touches and 18 of them being handballs when right now he is getting 22 touches and the majority of them are forward of Centre in space and damaging.

agree on all points, but he really lowered his eyes against the saints, few occasions he was steaming in off the wing/HFF and lowered his eyes to hit people up inboard in the 40-70m mark. have thought he'd have to find another team to get some midfield time but he's found another role in ours- he was massive last week.

Yeah by vision I ment inside heavy traffic at the stoppage. He was our best ball mover last week and was vital to our win. Best game I've seem him play I reckon. I just think midfield minutes are over rated. Half his touches will be with 7 blokes hanging off him trying to feed a handball to another bloke under pressure. ANB is one of our few blokes who reads the play and can position himself for the next possession rather than being a see ball get ball like the rest of our midfield
