Those two outs are no brainer. Sparrow was horrendous and has been for a while.

Turner pretty good for a debut and luckily bye let’s him play. Gets another go as sub.

We need a change of mindset to play quick attacking footy. Those personnel changes will help.

At a minimum, May for Turner (thought he was decent for his first game, but concussion protocols), and Weid for Mitch Brown. Absolute last chance for Weid though, if he doesn't cement a spot by the time TMac is ready, trade at end of the year.

If Lever doesn't show some form with May back, happy to swap with Turner for the game after.

Jacko needs to learn to play taller, so he needs to learn, the support program for forwards.

The reasons why he and the other forwards are not performing are:

• Slow play leading to flooding of the forward line, which in turn closes space to lead in
• Dump kicks to no one, usually picked off by defenders
• High balls into packs, hoping for a miracle mark or small forwards to crumb
• Tackling pressure significantly reduced in the forward 50

Turner was great while he was on the field, but we will be better with may, petty and lever.

Tomlinson as sub please, can cover most positions.

While i am eager to see JVR make his debut , am a bit reluctant to expose him to the crap being served up in the seniors now. I don't know who comes in apart from May , dick head or not he is crucial to our back line . As much as our players are all over the place right now , to me its the game plan that is not working . other teams have figured us out . Over to the coaches to sort it out very quickly or our defence of the flag is over .

Agree, his first goal came from a kick the opposite way to where he was pointing, but luckily got the jump still.
Need to open the tap more. Be willing to take it on through the guts and give blokes in the forward line some space to work with.
