You're misreading it if you think that Davo being a travelling emergency means he is next man in long term. Just will mean he is the player they least mind not playing SANFL and if he gets a late call up just means he gets 1 more game. Sounds like you're scared that if that happened somehow he would then retain his spot. It's pretty clear that will not happen.

I really don't think there are many here thinking this is the end for JJ and we are now stuck with him. This is the dropping (hehe) that many have wanted. It's not for good, it's the rocket that is needed. This could be the making of him.

Yeah. I agree with those that think we brought him back too early. I think that there might have been a bit of club pressure there, rather than him beating the door down to play. If we hadn't done that, it may not have been necessary to drop him.
