No change for mine, other than me being on my couch with a few beers as opposed to standing behind the Handicapped area all game on Sunday.

Good to hear Dunkley will be back for Footscray this week.

I hate getting stuck behind the Essendon cheer squad.

It's nice to potentially go in to a game unchanged after the season we've had.
On Dunkley, who's spot do you think he would take in the side if he found quick form in the twos ?

I'd nearly rather tag Zorko if anyone. He had a week off, will be fresh and dangerous imo.
Yeah Zorko is a good player and showed in recent weeks he
does not like a tag, he went from 188 fantasy points with
no tag to 48 points with a tag, no points for guessing
which week i traded him into my team not having a very
good year at all sadly.:'(:'(:thumbsdown::fire:

I think he could take the Honeychurch\Webb role although both of them had\have been playing well. Its Dunkleys height that sets him apart from those two as he can play as a third tall in the forward line if required.

For those that have seen Lipinski a bit , could he go past Both Webb and Honey for that forward role in 2018 ?

Beams can barely run at the moment. Zorko rips us every time.
I wouldn't go that far. Beams had 41 disposals and 9 clearances last week against the Eagles and 30 disposals and 3 goals the week before against the Blues. Zorko is the one that I'd recommend tagging though as most of you have said. Zorko is our best player.

Wishful thinking anyway, we generally do not tag opposite players. Suspect we just go head to head with you guys.

Per the OP our resting of our young players last week was not tanking as suggested by the media but the opposite. We think our 4 last games are all winnable.

So hopefully it will be a really entertaining game, despite you guys finding form at the right time of the year!

Why is Suckling the whipping boy? Why does everyone keep thinking he'll get dropped when he's played every game for the year? If he wasn't being dropped missing shots 35m out directly in front under no pressure, he's not going to get dropped when he's nailing shots from outside 50 from tighter angles which he's done over the last few weeks.

Plain and simple, he does something that nobody else on our team (or not many in the entire AFL for that matter) can do - consistently kick the darn thing over longer distances. That is inherently a valuable skill. When we set up for kick-ins that involve slicing it straight down the corridor, where an extra 5m can be critical for who kicks the next goal from that kick-in, Suckling has value to the team. When we have the ball on the half-back flank, and we decide to square it up sideways to Suckling, who then wins the ball, runs and carries 10m before bombing it 60m, that has value.

I just don't get it. He's a solid player, but more importantly, he's functioning in a role that nobody else can replicate. I get that he has his weaknesses - nobody over 6 foot tall should be that weak overhead in marking contests - but unless anyone can offer up a player who will play that role better than Suckling, after playing every game this season, he's not getting dropped.

Suckling can be frustrating at times as he can miss targets but in saying that I agree with you. It's risk v reward and his kicking can also generate open space for our guys.

After last week, Libba has to go to Zorko.

Zorko is a legitimate top 10 player in the competition, and will destroy us if we don't stop him. If he is stopped though, I don't see how Brisbane can beat us.

Considering how well it worked out for us last weekend, it'd be silly to not at least run Libba Head to Head.
Its not so much the tag or reluctance to tag in this case. For whatever reasons Libba has been down on form but has looked best given a clear role on a key player from the opposition.
If this is how to get the best from Libba ar this stage, do it
