Tag Zorko and you slow the Lions down heaps. It puts them out of sorts to start the game.
I'd bring in Walker/Wagner to go to Cameron and play Banfield up forward to tag Zorko. Dudley misses out.

Lions are missing 3 starters out of their backline. Payne, Answerth and Starcevich. They also lack height however Lester will return this week I think from concussion.

So interestingly Neale has missed 10 games since moving to Brisbane
4 of those 10 games missed are actually against Freo.
Only played Freo 5 times from the possible 9.
Didnt play against us in round 1 last year either and that was the only game he missed in the past 4 seasons up until last week.
Is that just freakish timing or Lachie just finds an injury to avoid the trip to Perth haha.

The old saying is you are only as good as your bottom 6. Reville, Robertson, Smith, McLachlan, Doedee, Marshall. That's a big drop off compared with their better players and is why they lost to Sydney. I'm not sure how many of these they will replace this week? Lester is in, but I'm not sure who else.
Then they've got Fort, Hipwood and Gardiner who are mediocre for their positions. Cameron is out of form (but worries me he is due).
How the players above go will dictate whether we win or not. The rest of Brisbane's side still did what they usually do against Sydney.
I'm worried based on how they have played poorly the week before they smashed Cats, Hawks, and Pies on the road, but they were not carrying so many depth players. Especially in those earlier games. Hawks they had Neale, Payne, Lohmann, Lester, Answerth. Cats the same except Starcevich instead of Payne. Pies game they had a few more out, but Neale had 36 and 12 clearances, and Smith and Fort pulled out top shelf games by their standards.

Yep, the Saturday was ridiculously wet so all the Fairweather supporters had a long time to change their mind. I recon if it had of been anyone but Carlton we might have had 5K more fans but the one with terminal cases of PTSD would have also given it a miss.
Well done to the fans.
Now lets hope we get off to a flier because i reckon if its loud and were up & about.
Its going to make Brisbane's job that little bit more difficult.
The boos would have been 10 x louder this week as well with the sell out.

We have to correct whatever we did last week that allowed Aliir Aliir take 17 marks because Harris Andrews could do the same thing - even if Brisbane are in the same position as Port with missing a first choice key defender.
