He works best as an attacking, rebounding defender. His best assett is his run and playing on Johnson will only inhibit that.

Speaking of that! Iv'e just realised that with Fletch out how much run off half back we're going to loose! We probably will have to play NLM as a running half backer in the absence of Fletch so i doubt he'd have an opponent that he has to be tight and be accountable on.

I'd think they'll use Lovett-Murray and McPhee to compensate for Fletcher and Ryder and, given our opposition, smaller, quicker players are probably going to equally compensate.

Fletcher's a massive loss, but if there's a game he has to miss, I don't mind it being the Bulldogs because there's probably going to be the least amount of kicks to packs in our defensive 50 than in any other game we play this year.

god i hope fletcher only gets 1 week... we really need him for the match against adelaide.
i dont think it will happen but i think johns should get dropped aswell for this match, we dont need another tall player who isnt mobile...we need the hard runners.. stanton and mcveigh are going to be huge determinants on this game. if both are out i think its going to be very tough for us as mcveigh could take johnson out of the game and stantons hard running will be very sorely missed against the dogs.

a massive game for our finals chances.. must win, carn the bombers.
