I'd rather play with 21 than white. I don't like writing off blokes who are trying to find their place at AFL leavel but each time
I've seen him play I've seen nothing to suggest he is capable at this level. Wagner has shown something at times.

Feel the exact opposite, Wagner is the hack, thought White had a decent start to the game. He's relatively poor defensively but with Wagner he's simply not afl standard, dropped marks, costly fumbles, and atrocious kicking.
Given Wagner has costed us a few games I think we at least give White a few opportunities to make up for his performance against the Swans.
Luckily both are on the rookie list and not costing us money because both are definitely still projects. Nothing wrong with that, that's what rookies should be. But not fit to play afl footy

I really like Kent. Not sure why he doesn't play every week.

Not putting on enough pressure and without any talls we need smalls who can bring it to ground in Hannan Bugg and Harmes. Kents terrible over head.
Think we are redeveloping him as a winger cause he's not that good a forward

Pace doesn't hurt Priddis and it's not like Maynard is usain bolt either. Maynard isn't costing us on the rookie list while Trenners is out of contract, it's time we give him a go surely.
Maynard gets a run eventually when Vince and Lewis go out of contract, exciting for his debut can do similar to what Greenwood has done for the crows IMO.
Not sure why Vince hasn't gone into the guts more often this year, I thought he was good at times in the guts whenever he starts at the centre bounce , and he was still immense as a midfielder last year in some contests.

Same day. Casey had a six day relative to the Dees.

I dont think they had permission as the whole club was on the six day turnaround.

Priddis is an elite clearance player tho Trenners isn't. If the club thought he would be around next year he would have got a game already. The fact that 4 blokes were ruled out on the piss and he still couldn't get a gig tells you the club knows he is done

You could say the same about Sam Mitchell. No pace, but his footy smarts allow him to find space and use the ball well.
Trenners is a clever footballer who should be given a decent run to show what he can bring to the team.

He hasn't had a pre season yet because he only returned from injury last year. Nothing has changed though

Agree with TK, Trenners is cooked, he isnt close to the same player he was, i mean, sure, he is better than Mitch White still though, so if it was between those two i agree, play Trengove, but lets aim a bit higher than Mitch White. Id much rather give JKH a go as a mid before i played Trengove and im not exactly the biggest JKH fan.

Casey themselves had a seven-day break, yes, but the MFC players were still on a six day break assuming they had to play the Friday night. IE the MFC players at Casey should have still treated it as a six day break even though they were playing at Casey, because the seniors had to play on the Friday and they are held to the same standard.

Well blokes like Howe can be a potential AA despite having a shit footy brain in modern times because he plays in a zone without an opponent and gets free runs at the footy. If he had to play on Russell Robertson all day he would have 7 kicked on him.

Eh, really not a modern thing, athletes running lose in the backline has been a thing for the entirety of your life.

Great post mate. It is why I get frustrated with Hogan sometimes, he tries to get them over the back but his best footy is leading up to the ball carry and killing his opponent with his fitness and mobility. Guys like Jenkins wouldn't get a kick if they couldn't run onto the ball over the back.
