Another week, another game!

Matera should come straight back in after playing a full game in the 2s midfield on the weekend.

Kolodjashnij will also play at some level this week, but after missing 3 weeks it's a bit of an unknown as to what level.

Who would come out for those two?

Both so important, Matera for his goal kicking and forward pressure and Kade for his marking and wonderful disposal

Matera 12.4D 1.8G 3.3T
KK 18.4D 4.9M 0.3G 1.9T

I wager you'll see Sumner and Hall get dropped potentially. That first quarter from Hall was pretty shocking and I am pretty quick to defend him usually.

Pinched a nerve I think? He's expected to play, but likely won't be in the midfield.

Ok thanks. Saw none of your game on Saturday night - only some highlights and speculation that Swallow was injured.
Should be decent game I think on Saturday. Suns still in the race to play finals and Carlton having found some form over the past couple of weeks.

Coming from Adelaide for a road trip to Melbourne for this one. Can't wait, also checking the Richmond v essendon game Friday night.
Are there any events, meet n greet, training etc put on by the club this weekend ?
Not directly related but as an aside I'm pretty interested to see if the club puts on some kind of function in Adelaide if we make finals and play Port since I don't think they've ever bothered in Adelaide

Matera and hopefully Kolo back in this week and it's even money this week in my opinion. I want more out of Bennell and to move into the midfield rotations. Move Rischa into the forward pocket in place of Bennell, substitute Sumner out for Matera in the forward line. Kolo back in for Herbert. Swallow to the back pocket or forward pocket really look after Swallow.

FB: Lemmens, May, Swallow
HB: McKenzie, Thompson, Broughton
C: Harbrow, Stanley, Bennell
HF: Hall, Lynch, Rischitelli
F: Martin, Day, Matera
R: Gorringe, O'Meara, Prestia
Int: Lonergan, Sexton, Shaw, Kolo

By the By, if anyone is in the area of Western Oval / Ransford Oval in Parkville, VC have a stop by and check out the International Cup games. It's about 7km from etihad and 3 women from our ladies team here in Boston are playing for the US Women's team. Should be a fun day of carnival footy if you wanted to check em out.

When are you coming over to rep the mens team? :p

I used to go along and watch the international cup a lot. I was even lucky enough to goal umpire a game in 2002 :)

I'm going to back this lineup.

Henderson out is handy for us, as Sunny_ said. We can cover Waite and Causbolt I would have thought.

We need to make sure Sam Day finds some of the ball this week. He was missing for a lot of that game against Saints, except for that nice grab in the goal square. Need both forwards firing to beat Carlton.

Henderson out for the Blues. Helps our cause quite a lot as we don't have the personnel to cover their three tall forwards. Waite and Casboult we can cover though.

Wouldn't mind betting Watson comes in and plays forward.
Has been trialed up there over the past 3 games and has looked ok up there.

Yeah doubt i'd get a game. Too old, not as talented as the boy's we've sent over.

When's Charlie Dixon coming back? Love that guy's game. Nice to have Matera back in.
