Love your post but I think some of the Negative Nancy's are going to accuse you of 'baiting'.A handful here were calling for Suckling to be dropped, so together with the outs of Morris, Wallis and Redpath from next week, nothing too unexpected. In fact, it was suggested that Moyd deserved a rest at some point. Minson has his critics, as does Collins and Webb following their appearances...Additionally, there were concessions that this week was already lost and that we should just focus on winning the winnable games between now and the finals and go 'all in' for the finals. Similarly, some were suggesting to be conservative and not rush the return of Dahlhaus and Stringer making the possibility of a blow out all the more likely. So why are so many posters so upset? We're not at full strength so we're clearly trying to do our best in the face of adversity. When not at full strength, there will always be fringe players who are making up numbers, but right now those fringe players can only be replaced by other fringe players.
These Dogs will still give their all and that's all we can ever hope for. I'd trade a few losses between now and the finals, for a win in the first week in the finals and beyond. Give me the best 22 we can field come week one of the finals and I think we'll still scare the pants off the other teams even if we finish 8th.
Maybe I'm an eternal optimist, but hey, I'm a Bulldog supporter. My optimism doesn't help the team on the field, but neither does being pessimistic.

Stringer will be lined up with hits to his shoulder all game. Absolutely stupid to risk him considering he's been training one-armed all week, it's not tanking but no harm in damage control considering the week we've had.
When is the VFL team named? Hoping McLean is named as well for that
Libba's ribs could be a target too, and Dahl's lack of match fitness, and Zordy's inexperience, and Boyd's contract ... Face it, we're stuffedStringer will be lined up with hits to his shoulder all game. i'm anticipating a loss but why on the bolded? our midfield's high strength and we're a great contested footy team?Very much looking forward to watching Cordy.
And he should see plenty of action down in our backline!
Go doggies!
Can i like something a thousand times overWHERE IS ******* MINSON BEF FFS, PUT ASIDE YOUR ******* DIFFERENCES WITH HIM AND USE HIM FFS
AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO THROW IN THE ******* TOWEL AND REST A FEW, DO IT PROPERLY NORF/ROSS STYLE FFS
Nobody forgets. We have no key in the forward for tomorrow's game. Toyd shouldn't be ruckingi'm anticipating a loss but why on the bolded? our midfield's high strength and we're a great contested footy team?
one loss and people forget how good the Rough and Toyd/Campbell combo has been all year
Put your money where your mouth is. I might put $$$ on cats and get $5 if they win but by God of we win the $50 will be worth it!Piss off you bunch of negative nellies.
I'm enjoying being the underdogs again.
Let's stick it right up 'em.
It worked with a key forwardi'm anticipating a loss but why on the bolded? our midfield's high strength and we're a great contested footy team?

Toyd's fine in the ruck, and the system worked great in rounds 1-4 and was fine the last two weeks. If you think that set up is what got us v St Kilda i can't help youNobody forgets. We have no key in the forward for tomorrow's game. Toyd shouldn't be rucking
Hey, don't knock it. I like the left field thinking (or am i clutching at straws? )Mwahaha...... Bev has come up with the solution!![]()
i reckon he'll go there for a lead up target if requiredIt worked with a key forward
If Hamling plays forward what can we reasonably expect from him?
FWIW will he play forward? Bev loves his useless small set up with Boyd rucking most of the game
Are you employed by footy club?Going to the game.. I was going for a good contest but not I'm going for the spectical..
If requiredi reckon he'll go there for a lead up target if required
Not totally. As the others said maybe we just goddamn should and give others like stringer a rest tooWe throwing the game?
Go back to sleep and enjoy that dream you're havingYeah we could get flogged. Or the stars could align for us for the first time this year and we get a 2015 stringer vs eagles/crows performance, along with bont having his best game for the year and wood taking the most intercept marks for the year. If that happens, we win
he's done both at vfl level. it's genuinely in play man. not saying he's good at it and i don't have much interest in it but it's in play.If required
Come on man, he starts there or he plays 100% back
The only time I've ever seen Bev swing someone forward from defence in game all season was Adams against Carlton when Carltons talls got on top late and we needed Roughys height down there
If Hamling doesn't start forward he won't at all
