The last time we met it didn't go the way of the Doggies. I upset a few on here imparting my views on the result, with many howling me down about how your side is decimated by injuries.

Well, whether or not that was the case before, I do not need to be donged on the head this time to say that your side is, very much, ravaged by injuries. I was hoping that the players missing from last time; Wood, JJ et al would be back to bolster the lineup in order to provide a decent contest.

Clearly, if you guys win it'll be considered a MASSIVE upset, whilst if you lose it'd be a formality given the injuries. Given the doom and gloom on here, I'd say that anything less than a 50 point loss would be considered a win?
I wouldn't get to cocky you stupid little arrogant fool. You only have a couple of good players so I'd say we are a big chance of victory. I'd say Geelong are zero chance to win the flag because their list is so thin so I can't see why you think victory next week is guaranteed.

Would you consider the 22 players you played against us earlier in the year as stronger or weaker than the prospective best 22 which will line up against us Friday night? I ask both from a talent and a structural perspective.
Definitely weaker. Morris may be out and Libba is not fit, but still played against the saints. If we don't bring in a ruckmen, the times that Boyd plays chop out our forward line will be very small, something that I don't think works at all.

I fully understand the condescension in your posts. Hey, if our team is weaker then we'll get beaten by even more away. We probably won't win, but you probably didn't think you'd lose to Collingwood, Carlton or St Kilda either. Hopefully your players come in with the attitude that you seem to carry, that this is a foregone conclusion, because I doubt our players will.

What kind of satisfaction are you seeking to receive out of a post like this?
Are you looking for something along the lines of me thinking your midfield (besides Danger and Selwood) are a bunch of C graders who are some of the biggest down hill skiers in the game?

Is that what you were looking for?
I wasn't looking for a reaction. It was a reasoned observation. Given the reaction, I have removed the post as a sign of good faith.

Having said that, your post, whilst not constructed as an observatin but rather a reaction, is perhaps not too far off the mark. Our third best mid yesterday was a first gamer.

Was your loss yesterday due to injuries (lack of rotations) or did the Saints simply outplay you? Our losses as described above were probably due to a poor attitude. You are correct, if Geelong rock up with an attitude of having already won the game, they'll probably lose.

Saints outplayed us in a similar fashion to how they outplayed your team.

****ing hell. Just **** off with this talk. Why does it matter to you how we lost to the Saints, you did too. This is a bad enough place atm without opposition fans trolling.

We weren't switched on whilst the Saints' pressure was frenetic. Surely your boys didn't take the Saints too lightly? They're no world beaters but equally they're no spuds.
Yer, its funny how whenever Geelong lose, it is because they weren't switched on. It is never because the other team was better on the night.

Actually keen to see how we go against geelong. Team will be jigged a bit, which may work out better for us. Wouldn't mind toyd going deeper, stringer back in, with hamling. Maybe honey for mid however Dahl may be back

Big wounds, but have confidence we can replace and move on

One bad game does not make you badly out of form, he was one of best last week, he is not even close to being dropped.

yeah - I dont like barometer players - eagleton was one. When eagleton plays well the dogs win!! What they mean is when the dogs are winning, eagleton plays well, which is nowhere near the same thing. I hope suckling is not a barometer player.

Suckling had 5 clangers - unacceptable for a guy with his mix of skills. Matty Boyd had 5 clangers too for that matter, but at least he offers some defensive nous and grunt.

As for Jong, 9 clangers - almost half of his possessions were clangers. Thats world record pace. Just cant afford that no matter what else he brings, and Id be perversely interested in how many st kilda possession chains resulting in shots on goal were started by him.

St kilda brought finals-like pressure and we should be at least glad of the opportunity to identify players who aernt up to that sort of pressure, and bring in players who might be.

No in a game which was close it only needed one person down back to provide repeated clanger s giving the st kilda shots at goal. One guy not accountable making st kilda s offense far more potent.

I really don't like your allegation that Suckling is match fixing.

I am surprised the mods allow such a clearly defamatory and baseless allegation to be aired repeatedly.

It's also quite illogical. Read your post again - if the game was close - so you're a match fixer - do you pay one guy to fix the match on the guess that its close?

You've written some bizarre shit but I think this actually beats everything for bizarre tin foil hat conspiracy BS that I've seen by anyone on BF.

So Jong was obviously part of it also with his clanger count ?

If we are serious about winning Jong has to go back to Footscray. The fist 3 quarters were some of the worst football I have seen .

Dickson is struggling and Koby has gone back to bad Koby.

Cordy, Hamling, Dahlhaus, Webb and Minson in for tye 3 injured Jong and either Dickson or Koby

Pretty hard to predict this week with our medical estimates being such BS.

Out: Moz, Red, Wallis

In: Stringer, Dahl, Hamling/Zaine

Jong wasn't shocking the week earlier so he may have some credits. Doubt he'll handle Geelong pressure even if he stays in.

Suckling has been ordinary at times but I assume credits mean we see him stay.

I'd love Minson in to allow Boyd to play fwd but Bev doesn't like picking him it seems.

If Minson plays then Jong is out or Dahl hasn't come up IMO.

And he had a shocker but he is in our top 10.

Strange how you have picked this bloke from pretty much day one,you called for him to be dropped weeks ago but watch other guys and think their endless errors are ok.

And I'm inconsistent lol
Nowhere near our top ten. I've seen Gia, Dickson and Higgins described as soft over the years but the last Bulldog I've seen hear footsteps like Suckling was Jordan McMahon.
I get why he's in our side and he adds something we need but he's a role player not a star.

A reasoned observation is "hey fellow top 8 side who has covered for injuries all year. In light of some more injuries you'd be happy with a 50 point loss right?"
You're ridiculous.

The guy is clearly a sandwich short of a picnic.
