JK for either Ah Chee or Allen. Im guessing they will send Ah Chee back to the Wafl as Allen has more runs on the board this year but it still could be Allen going back.

Simmo wont drop Rioli as he has acknowledged his natural talent before and how he can have a large impact in a short time regardless of fitness.

Rioli was off but that pudgy striker we put on in the first Q was pretty handy.

Nelson to WHE could be good. Nelson seems to have developed the running power to do a job here.

Ah Chee the most likely to go out but I really like us more with 2 tall forwards and the resting Ruck at stages.

Let's see if there are any injuries/soreness as that may provide some clarity on the changes.

Straight swap Ah Chee for JK. Rioli is 10% off it, but is better placed to get fitness up at top level. Still worth a goal a game off his boot and usually another indirectly despite lack of match fitness.

Thought I was the only one who thought Willie looked fat. Frustrating given the reports from preseason that said he was in career-best condition :(

I don't want to drop him though. He's still contributing.

Logic says Ah Chee out.

With Nic Nat back and Hutch out, are we just going to take their midfield on head to head with no tagger?

He was in sensational condition preseason, but that long injury lay off set him back, and has put on the pud again. Shame, he didn't keep off the good tucker.

Heres a thought

IN: Schofield, JK
OUT: Nelson, Allen

Do we really want Sheppard tied down with De Goey when Schoey is such a good matchup for him? And who is Nelsons matchup?

Schoey towelled him as best as you can reasonably expect in the GF, and he still kicked 3.1. Most of those had nothing to do with Schofield, but the point remains he’s a hard matchup even when you’re at your best.

Shep’s excellence as an interceptor and rebounder shouldn’t diminish how vital he is as a pure defender. I think in a team with Hurn, Barrass, McGovern and Shep, you can afford to have Shep playing defence first and reading the play when he can, rather than trying to hope Schoey recreates his best game of his career that still ultimately saw De Goey remain fairly heavily involved.

In : JK
Out : Probably Achee even though I thought he had a solid game

Despite the score line it was a pretty physical game and with a 6 day turnaround it wouldn’t surprise if there’s a couple who don’t come up

Schofield, Cole, Rotham, Smith, Waterman and Mallen all have a solid bank of form behind them in recent weeks should replacements be needed

If Petruccelle recovers from his hamstring I don’t think his form prior was strong enough for him to come straight back in without at least a week in the WAFL

I see De Goey is libel to have some sort of club sanction due to being charged for using a mobile phone while driving.
I would be urging them to give him eight week minimum

Rioli looks like he needs a mini-pre season.

I trust the sports physio guys - but he's a mile off the bloke who was running 16km in game last year.

Would be good to give him a 3-4 week running program and then get him back in

I made a similiar comment a few weeks ago but even though he looks off at times his stats are comparable to last year ..He definety looked more switched on last year but as long as the team is winning and he contributes a goal and a few assists he will be fine ..

Ruck - Naitanui,Yeo,Shuey

Int - Duggan(back),Hickey(ruck -tall forward),Mastern (mid),O.Allen (forward)

I just felt like relaxing and picking a team for next week.As Naitanui gets more minutes on the ground in coming weeks O.Allen might go out for a small forward like Venerables or Petch or Waterman.O.Allen might take Hickeys spot or Vardy might .Hutchinson will come in when fit possibly for Masten or AhChee could hold a place in the midfield .Schofield and Tom Cole both could come in the backline at anytime.Possibly one midfielder short of an ideal top 30 players but Tim Kelly might be that thirtieth player next season.
Good team and support players
Smith could be available as that extra midfielder
A lot underestimate his talents and versatility

If Collingwood stand for anything he'll be suspended for his texting and driving fiasco anyway.

But they don't, so he won't.
