Adelaide ruckman Sam Jacobs will not return to AFL action on Sunday.

Crows senior coach Don Pyke has confirmed that Jacobs will miss the clash against Fremantle in Perth as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

“Sauce will miss again, so Reilly O’Brien gets another opportunity,” Pyke said.

Jacobs rolled his ankle in the second quarter of Adelaide’s win over Essendon in round 19 and was replaced in the ruck by first-gamer O’Brien for last Saturday night’s game against Brisbane.

Yeah particularly given Sandi goes alright as lone ruckman. Clarke out for Tabs makes sense. Apeness is tall enough to contend, just his tank might not be great for around the ground work.
