Can't see how to post new threads on the iPad, so here it will have to be. I have 5 tickets (2 adult, 3 children) that I can email you for Sunday's game. I have torn my calf and can't do the stairs, so have bought tickets at ground level. Block 416 in the nose bleeds. Pm me if your interested! (No Cost)

Ouch - sorry to hear about the torn calf mate, do not need the tix but can feel your pain with injuries we get trying to fight father time.

So Mundy to resume duties in defence and Blakely into the middle then? Would have liked to see Tabs but I guess that means Apeman gets an extended fun. No Suban or Sutcliffe is a relief.
Nah I think they'll put Mayne back in defence instead of Mundy. Silvagni, Collins, Hughes, Ibbo, Tucker and Mayne as the back 6 perhaps? Mundy, Neale, Blakely in the middle. Hoping they put Hill back on a wing with Danyle and Sheridan (with a tagging role perhaps) rotating through.

Yeah they had to do something in relation to the backline, there was only Spurr left from last year. With Ibbo and Mayne it will hopefully be a bit better against the inevitable raining of goals.

Whoops! Forgot Spurr (now I feel bad). Well that probably pushes Tucker forward to a wing as well. Thanks.

Things i am looking forward to
- Will Blakley have learnt to be more accountable for his man (Defensive) and use the ball better? (RTB said he has)
- Will Sheridan continue with the run-with/Tagging role and go pretty well?
- Will Mayne be used for longer in Defence? Was alright against Eagles?
- Will Silvagni continue his pretty good form of late?

Also looking forward to Apeness Crashing, Yarran wow-ing and Sandi being Sandi, as well as Langdon and Weller finding the ball. Lots to look forward to people :)

Maybe they do read Bigfooty after all?

In any event crisis averted for another week. Re Tabs, how many games would he have to play for Peel to feature in finals?

Now it's guaranteed I get the feeling certain players will have their names thrown into the hat, and Taberner doesn't have much finals experience in any campaign.

That's not so bad after all. No Suban, Mzungu, Suttclife. But wish Tabs was in, feel like we really need him to gel with Apeness. Perhaps he ll come in against GWS and Pav rest for his final game?

You would think so unless we are trying to get Pav to 700 goals and it looks like he will fall short. TBH though I cannot see any benefit in sending Pav to Sydney.

He is on 697 goals, so a couple this week then he ll get a few in the final game against Western Bulldogs. He can make it comfortably. But you're right, no point sending him over to Sydney even more so against GWS. Won't be too many turning up to farewell him. Give him the 2 weeks to celebrate and come to terms with retiring etc. Should be a great way to farewell a legend at home the last two games. Even I haven't come to terms with it.. Gonna be a wreak personally by 28 August.

Igbo replacing Mzungu in the squad is passing strange. Mzungu was his usual dashing self on the track this morning, so no fitness issues one would think. Maybe Ibbo's initial exclusion was a typo. Or maybe Muz had to stay home on Sunday to mow the lawns.
