Think it’ll be :
Out - Jetta (susp), venables (inj), vardy (omit)
In - Rotham, Achee, Schofield

Just on Naitanui since it’s been raised - he’s been running and jumping for weeks now and I suspect has been doing far more training than the club has been letting on. Won’t be surprised in the slightest if he comes back before the bye or if he does so without playing in the WAFL first but I doubt it will be this week. Could be a surprise selection for the Bulldogs game
You could be right on the changes. I'd like to see MAllen get a run over AhChee and not sure Schofield adds a lot in the form he has been in. It's a shame Watson is injured as he would be the most like for like with Jetta. Pretty quick, good by foot and (unlike Jetta) loves a tackle. Rotham was good in his two games and unlucky to be dropped.

I also think you are right on NN. If he is on the edge of playing I would be tempted to hold off until a home game to avoid the travel. Strangely, he has been travelling to some of the away games, something I would have avoided as a rehab case.

Masten has Hamstring Awareness....Ok Campaigners what is that? Is that code for retirement?

If it is, Jarrod Brander is also retiring at age 20. Or it could be exactly what it says in the article, a low grade hamstring strain.

Versatile tall Jarrod Brander and experienced wingman Chris Masten both missed action last weekend due to hamstring strains, both are minor, but Masten has been ruled out while Brander will get a chance to prove his fitness tomorrow ahead of the weekend.

“Jarrod Brander had an unlucky incident at training where he had a low grade hamstring awareness which ended up being a strain,” Vozzo said.

“We kept him out of Thursday night’s game against East Perth, we expect he’ll go through the protocols for hamstring recovery and be available this week.

“Chris Masten, at the start of last week, had some hamstring awareness as well and has pulled up sore.

“On scan it has shown it’s a low-grade strain, so we expect it’s only a one-week injury, possibly two.”

With three forced changes, the real question is 'do we have the balls to make four'?

With Adelaide likely to be a one ruck side, do we go with Vardy (forward who can't ruck) or do we bite the bullet and go Brooksby solo? Or do we admit ruck defeat and go Vardy solo? Or do we really go gutsy and go with Brooksby/Williams over Hickey/Vardy?

With the emergence of OAllen as a third tall who can ruck a bit, we are actually unbalanced with both Vardy and OAllen in the side. They are both trying to be the same thing. I feel that OAllen has overtaken Vardy, who in 2018 was that third tall who rucked a bit.

Zero chance it’ll happen, but wouldn’t love to see him come in. I feel like this is a very important game, and against a good crows midfield, we could use a lift in the middle that Nic would provide, even if he’s only in there for a smaller percentage of the time compared to his normal minutes. Plus throw him feel forward, worry the defenders enough that someone out of Darling, Cripps, Rioli, Ryan or Petch can get free and have an impact. He’s been training for almost 2 months, that will have done just as much as playing some shit WAFL side on a suburban ground with even worse surface that Optus. Just get him in!!!!

There is no way NN plays

Its all very well and good for him to 'want' to play, but I also 'want' to drive a Ferrari

Just because I want it, doesn't mean its going to happen...
For knee injuries nothing really changes week to week so if he's ready next week he's probably ready this week too

Naitanui won't play.

I'd actually drop Vardy as well as Hickey (inj) and go Brooksby. We recruited this bloke for this exact situation - he's been tearing it up in the WAFL and with NN back probably just before/after the bye and Vards in such trash form if Keegan doesn't play now he never will. Gotta reward good WAFL performance and with him kicking a few goals in the seconds as well would be nice having more pressure on the #2 ruck/fwd spot for the second half of the season.

Out: Hickey (inj), Venables (inj), Jetta (susp), Vardy
In: Brooksby, AhChee, Rotham, Schofield.

Allen back to playing fwd/chop out ruck, or alternatively Mallen in as a third fwd/mid over Schoey and OAllen to play back/ruck on a T.Lynch/Jenkins type
