I can understand that but I'd still like to see Adamson get a run and see how how goes.
Can't be any worse than Mcginnity surely? .. even if he is told to just apply manic pressure, be accountable for his opponent and try snag a goal. anything else is a bonus

Shreds inclusion is dependent on his fitness to run out a match moreso than his actual form

If they think he's match fit then he'll play - we need him back in the side

Yep, and again conditions meant all form in the WAFL last week has an asterisk next to it.

Guess it comes down to who the coaches see as having greater value for these last 10 weeks. I definitely see Duggan coming back in soon, but we're leaning towards rewarding form; increased output in the WAFL will help press his claims.

Sheed has to come in this week. Who would of thought we have the talent of Jetta Sheed Duggan Ellis Mckenzie in the WAFL. And we are playing spuds like. Mcginnity Hutchings Redden. Time to get the talent in Simmo
Agreed.

Not sure why everyone wants sheed to come in. He only had 10 touches. How would the other players feel in the wafl if he gets a game after that?
Good point but I think talent has to trump a single average performance while being tagged in the twos in terrible conditions. We need to get the most talented players into the team as soon as they are physically ready. He's played 3 games already, and while his stats have diminished over the course of those 3 weeks, he's a better player than more than a couple of the blokes we had in the midfield against Carlton.

He was scragged off the ball relentlessly against West Perth with no protection at all from the umpires - he was actually penalised 2 or 3 times for holding trying to get clear

Personally I think he'll play against Melbourne

I have no idea why he is persisting with schofield. has been crap the last month or so. Made a good make shift big kpd last year but with emac back surely Schofield has to go out on form. Maybe time in the 2's might even wake schofield up. He has become too complacent this year.
Emac has shown zero form.

His form at wafl has been good. His confidence was really down at the start of the year. He should have actually started the year off for ep. Schofields form has been on a downward spiral the last month and a bit. He has become too complacent and needs to be reminded that his postion in the side isn't set in stone.

Think he needs another 2-3 good games, and probably at least one in decent conditions.

He's had more than a few good games, but they dont seem keen to reward him with a run..they keep blathering on about his disposal but when the conditions were good his disposal was great. Id bring him in and play him on a flank and as an extra mid, see what he can do.

Have heard it mentioned before but cant remember the answer, have we stuck JD in the midfield for a decent amount of time at all?

During the season no but in the pre-season we did and he wasn't to bad. I know he isn't the answer to our midfield problems but i really think we need to put him in there for some stints when he isn't impacting the scoreboard.

Really wish he'd get a tad more aggressive, guess his marshal arts has drummed it into his head to not be so.

Yeah, but he was playing WAFL Ressies only a couple of weeks ago.

That's a big step up.

Yes but he shouldnt have been there. His form didnt warrant it, he was only squeezed down there to make way for returning AFL players. His form has been pretty good since mid last year when they moved him into the guts.

I don't think darling should be starting centre bounces or anything but i wouldn't mind seeing him up the ground a bit more. Does he have the tank to do it tho

McGinnity had a very good run in the WAFL , was the dominant player for a month before he got the call up for AFL and has done well before tapering off in form again .

Adamson is a very good prospect but geez he would find it tough especially entering finals .

.
Well he kicked 4 opportunistic goals at home against the worst team in the league.

Then has done nothing for 2 games

How do you know that? he may be a big game player and surprise us all.

Yes he could be up to standard , the MC are going to have to bypass Sheed , Duggan and Nelson though to play Adamson and I just cant see it happening .
Another strong performance in the WAFL would help of course .

WCE are sixth vying for top 4 so I just cant see them making any major changes at this stage .

Big fan of Nelson. Put him in. Why not try a smokey? Adamson sounds like he is trying. Go Simmo - lets be bold. Lamb will never get a game. I dont think the MC manages recruits so well.

Haha nice pickup. Well I like to consider all possibilities :drunk:

I agree with many of the sentiments on here with regard to playing Redden, Hutch and Pridda in the same team. It stifles our ball movement. We need to move the pill faster. Adamson, Karpany and these guys are not the answer.

If Sheed is fit bring him back. He was good a few weeks before and that's why he was tagged in harsh conditions. Sheed is excellent inside with his hands and decision making, but also isn't that slow and can kick with penetration. He also knows how to find the ball. With another one or two full seasons under his belt, Sheed will be a reliable 25+ possession each game player. They should bring in Jetta and Sheed in for Hutch and Ginners for better team balance, better kicking and faster ball movement. Sit Jetta in the back pocket and feed him the hand balls so he can use his kicking and get confidence up by touching and handling the pill often, or sit him in a forward pocket. Change it up.

Also Emac should be back in seniors. McGovern can ruck instead of Brown, or just let Lycett go for the full game.

Good post, agree especially on Sheed and Jetta.
