I guesa Redden and Priddis on the inside Gaff and Duggan outside. Shuey inside aswell as outside.I'd say Redden will play more out of the middle instead of a flank this week. Duggan can play more outside.
Happy to see Schofield out and Emac trialled with the others.

Do like those changes. Don't think there'll be too many complaints about them.
Emac for Schoey for 'soreness' is going to be interesting. Think Emac will be much better in the air than Schoey, who has been ordinary 1v1 in the air, particularly close to goal. But it'll be interesting to see how he makes up for the loss of Schoey's run and spread.
I'm just hoping Redden can find some form soon. Was so stoked when we picked him up. Was circumspect about his average form prior to being dropped to the magoos, given his non-existent pre-season. Was stoked again when he started putting a couple of good games together at WAFL and then last week... wow. Disappointment doesn't quite sum it up. WTF is going on with him? He was abjectly woeful. Come on Reddo... get it going son!
Giles for Brown against Gawn was a no-brainer though.
schoey probably is probably fit enough to play but with emac playing well for ep and barrass impressing in the seniors. Its probably the perfect game to bring emac in and rest/drop schoey. Im gonna assume that schofield will be held over.East Perth are also playing Saturday afternoon at the Claremont showgrounds - do we go with a non-playing emergency this week since we could pull someone across from Claremont quite quickly if there's a late out or do we not care if McGinnity plays at all this weekend
Curious that Schofield has still be named as an emergency given that soreness was the reason for his omission - maybe theres still some doubt on Gov that we need to cover
I reckon Nelson will be played as an inside mid and I think he offers more than both of those outs.Hutchings and McGinnity out and Nelson and Duggan in is good for Redden IMO. Two mostly inside players out for smaller, younger, potentially more outside players. Redden needs to step up.
Lately WCE have been precious about dropping senior players. MacKenzie was a late out with the flu then played at EP the following week. Last week Jetta was named out after he was on the plane and travelled as an emergency. From memory they did something similar with Ellis.Curious that Schofield has still be named as an emergency given that soreness was the reason for his omission - maybe theres still some doubt on Gov that we need to cover
Tag Viney and rough him upI reckon Nelson will be played as an inside mid and I think he offers more than both of those outs.

I hope we see both of them in the middle, but didn't Nelson play a full game in there against Essendon?Agree with you, but I don't think Nelson can play a full game in the guts. That's why I think we'll see more of Redden in the middle, where he belongs. We go in a much more balanced side this week, IMO.
But Collingwood went full Woosha and played Mason Cox, Brodie Grundy, Jarrod Witts, and Jesse White.Be interesting to see how our rucks go vs Max this week. Collingwood bought in an extra ruckman to "work him over" kinda like what we are doing right now and Max took a dump on their heads and was BOG.
Buckley immediately admitted he made a bad choice after the game.
Also Duggan will be under the microscope. Couldn't get near the ball for the most part this year and now they're bringing him back despite the fact he's been getting reasonably quiet WAFL numbers.
Either he hit some KPI we don't know about or the MC really wanted Hutch/Ginnity out of the team THAT much.
I'd say the Duggan inclusion would be the latter. The Redden dilemma must have influenced the call alsoBe interesting to see how our rucks go vs Max this week. Bring in the Karp.I actually thought Schoey was playing alright recently. Seems imbalanced having our 3 big FB types all in the same team, but sort of excited to see how they work together.
Not sure who is going to play McGinnity's role here of the changes. Surprised Duggan got a game really, but not expecting either him or Nelson to be great if they're stuck on the HFF. That position seems to be killing whoever has to go there.
What role was McGinnity playing? Looked like it was headless chook against Carlton.I actually thought Schoey was playing alright recently. Seems imbalanced having our 3 big FB types all in the same team, but sort of excited to see how they work together.

Yeah. Good picks. If not Duggan I thought there was the opportunity to try someone young on the fringe. Adamson?Very happy with those changes. Give the youth a crack in place of depth.
HAs Duggan earned this recall ?I reckon Nelson will be played as an inside mid and I think he offers more than both of those outs.
