Thirty years ago we played in a semi-professional sporting comp where players trained twice a week.30 years ago members actually had a say in the operation of their club, pity they are faceless organisations now that just peddle the same cliche every week to appease the masses.
A trailer of shit is the only thing known to work.

And players could have a cheeky *** outside the ground.Thirty years ago we played in a semi-professional sporting comp where players trained twice a week.

Cheers soozwell i think enough is enough i'm thinking of emailing the club. Simpson Does not care I think! Why can us the fans see this!! Get better players in the middle.
But sir, the trade period doesn't open until....Do it now!! Take action!!
Out: Redden (omit), Gov (inj), McGinnity (it was fun while it lasted badgerman)
In: Nelson, Emac, Duggle
May as well continue to burn Duggan's confidence in this horrible HFF flank position we have created if only for exposure to the level. I'm not sure he is getting much out of the WAFL. **** EP seriously.
Redden...normally I'm against only giving a bloke 1 week but his defensive running was non-existent. Zero hunger. Send him back to the WAFL for the year. He needs to get his body right and work his arse off to repay the faith shown by the club and MC.
Emac for Gov is a no brainer if Gov needs to rest his thumb. Let Barrass play the third tall and "Govern" the backline.
Lord Nelson to bring the Ginners fire with a higher skill base. I'm pretty sure the Dees are Spanish with blokes called Yze running around the place. Let Nelson scatter their fleet and protect the motherof all flat tracksland from the Dee armada

At most clubs this would be it for priddis but at our club, priddis will play next season. It doesnt matter who we bring in, because they will most likely be played out of position to accommodate Sir Ploddus to play 90% game time in the middle. Redden racks up 30 possessions in the WAFL, gets played on a flank...Nelson dominates as a midfielder, gets played as a tagger...real smart group we have running the show..
Same thing was happening with Karpany, was played out of position for two seasons trying to turn him into something he wasnt, and as soon as he gets played in the position he got drafted for, he plays well enough to be considered. Our so called brains trust have NFI..
So you talk about how bad it is that Priddis can only play one position and yet go on to say that the reason Redden, Karpany etc have not been performing is because they are not being played in a singular, preferred position? You can't preach versatility and then condemn it.It doesnt matter who we bring in, because they will most likely be played out of position to accommodate Sir Ploddus to play 90% game time in the middle. Vast difference between being able to be rotated out of your "preferred position" to somewhere else, compared to your only rotation being to the Bench! So you talk about how bad it is that Priddis can only play one position and yet go on to say that the reason Redden, Karpany etc have not been performing is because they are not being played in a singular, preferred position? Have we ever been at the bottom for an extended period?I actually fear for us next season. we could be a mid table side at best and drop off after that once jk, emac, hurn, butler, lecca all get closer or past 30. I can see us being at the bottom of the ladder for an extended period.

2008-10 could have been worse if we didnt have the likes of cox, embers, kerr, glass, Waters and lynch. Only way things change is if sheed and duggan take massive strides and the midfield it self playing like a top 4 side. AT the moment every other line is just about elite but if we wait another 2-3 year we might lose some of best/important player and hence drop.Have we ever been at the bottom for an extended period?
Please tell me all fans react like this to losses (or in this case, a win).
To be fair, 2008-10 were exceptional circumstances. Other than that, we have always been up and about. West Coast is a rich club, plenty of resources, I don't see us falling away long term. We've still got plenty of young talent in NN, Darling, Barrass, Duggan and Sheed. We can't afford to be complacent, but the foundations are there.2008-10 could have been worse if we didnt have the likes of cox, embers, kerr, glass, Waters and lynch. to be fair by long term i mean 3-5 years and not melbourne like long term. I just dont think our recruiting and development over the years have been great. Hit the mother load in 2010 but since that Sheed, Barrass, Duggan, Nelson and maybe cole have shown that they might turn into good footballers IMO 5 players in 5 years is pretty bad. Trading hasnt been too bad with yeo, cripps and wellingham. The jury is still out on jetta and redden tho.To be fair, 2008-10 were exceptional circumstances.
