Might as well give Apeness games with better delivery and build his fitness at the same time. Give him a chance to learn under Pav before he retires as well.

Hey guys just a quick question who would have better job security, Collins or Tucker?
Collins should play almost every game from here on, with Johnson and A.Pearce out, theres not really anybody else to play. Tucker would score higher however and is a chance to cememnt a place. I'd say Tucker would be a better pick up ... But Collins safer.

Actually I think dropping Langdon would be for balance, ie bringing in a possibly underdone newbie in Apeness, we would have too many in the team. And Langdon was behind Blakely and Weller last weekend.

Would not be a slight on him. And would be the only reason Suban survived.

If there was any reason to suspect us tanking, I think the Apness in raises questions lol

When we've played both Clarke and Griff this year they both only got about 60% gametime.

I doubt that'll change much for Apeness. Plus I'm thinking the MC thought it was too good an opportunity to miss, letting Apeness play two games in a row against depleted backlines most likely getting their third string KPD.

I hope you guys don't mind me asking this here but who would you pick Tucker or Collins?

Apeness is in many respects the great white hope for our team, the missing contested marking tall we've been crying out for forever. I really can't imagine Freo would rush him in early and risk him getting injured for the sake of 'tanking'. Seems a little counter-productive.

There is a DT/SC questions thread stickied at the top of the board for future reference. I'd say Tucker.

You're right, I just hope he goes alright because for the same reason, I can see the natives around here turning on him if he doesn't measure up.

Great to see Apeness come in, next up Morabito please. Though I disagree with dropping de Boer before Suban, seeing as de Boer had a good game last week.

This is the perfect opportunity for Apeness to get some game time.

I remember last year when the perfect opportunities to play youngsters came around and we didn't take them, the selection committee got a roasting on here. Cant win either way

I have lost hope in the Freo medical team and have being saying this for years.

Apeness would be no where close to starting this early, if we were in finals hunt.

Ross Lyon on Apeness earlier today:

“He’d be in our top eight at the club for his endurance and he’s got a natural genetic disposition to be able to run, which is nice for a 200cm guy and he’s really competitive (as well).”

Haha, good ole Ross, spreading butter on toast. 200cm key forward that has played 2 WAFL games in the last 1.5 years, yeah he's ready to run out a game of AFL.

He will probably play forward, but the theatrical thing would be to place him on Balla at stoppages .................. a pinch here, a nudge there, a tum tap here, a wedgie there.

You forgot the Nipple Cripple and the Noogie that Ballas will give in return...
