The high ball delivery kills us in every way constantly. A low shank grubber at least gives our runners a decent go ( Dwayne refers to it as a chaos ball) and on the ground it is a genuine 50 50 contest. In the air with a outnumbered pack its just suicide, Pav would've won a Coleman at other clubs who can deliver a laces out lead mark.
Its not rocket surgery, more inside 50s but a lower score continuously means we aren't making the most of opportunities. Hogan and McCarthy would still struggle with that shit house delivery

What's rocket surgery?

What's rocket surgery?

Something incredibly hard/difficult.

Rocket Science + Brain surgery = Rocket Surgery/Brain Science

The problem none of you have highlighted is that we have robbed Peter to pay Paul . Walters and Ballantyne play more in the midfield than in the forward line . These two players were the go too players when we needed goals .Walters due to all the hard running and being tackled doesn't have the energy to kick accurately for goal from 50 metres .Ballas is also having to do far more work around the ground .With these two players spending more time involved in stoppages our crumbing forwards just aren't there hence the lack of goals .
Those bashing Sutcliffe should take a deep breath he was sent back to Peel and got the recall only to injure his ankle .He went off for treatment but came back on .Even blind Freddy could see him hobbling on the ground from then on but he kept on trying ,playing injured . He gave everything for the team .
I expect him to be declared injured and not play at any level for a couple of weeks .
I would suggest that DeBoer will go back to Peel next week and those will be the only outs
Grey and Mundy would be the ins for me with Clancee being the emergency .
With Hughes ,Johnson and Hurley injured Uebergang is the only inform tall that is worth considering to replace Ibbotson but he will need to be upgraded from the rookie list .
For those calling for Apeness please keep the powder dry for at least another 4 to 6 weeks . Yes he is clunking a couple of marks and kicking a couple of goals but he would blow up in the first quarter of AFL footy and you would put his recovery back to next season . Same story for Yarran once he recovers from his calf injury .

Still think it's game plan, but yes we have been robbing Peter to pay Paul for ages.

Walters is a sublime small forward who could pinch hit in the midfield.
Ballas for me is an out and out small crumbing forward.
Fyfe won a brownlow as a midfielder but I think he could be one of the greatest CHF of all time, if allowed to play that role.
Barlow is as inside as they come. Leave him there all game to get his 30+ touches and most will excuse the occasional floating pass.

We just don't have any forward set up at all.

Salim go and get stuff.
I just want all age under 25 players on nou list play , all this need pav, Dawson ,spurr, d.pearce is just crap, so far do their experience win us any match.
I don't even care if Uber , apeness , nyhuis ,Tucker, mora and Smith running out of juice or outsize anymore as long no more injuries.

Let's just say the trend isn't looking good for the two of you. Suggest you both get your finances in order, and find a good lawyer.
Thanks for your care .you go and get stuff too.

You're right about Walters and Ballantyne, especially for SonSon - people whining about his form in front of the sticks don't realise how much pressure he's putting on his body at the moment.

Ballantyne's suffering from a lack of height to crumb off in the forward line with one ruck and no Sandi. I also reckon he plays injured most of the time. There definitely needs to be some relief up front, so I can understand the calls to rush in Apeness as fast as humanly possible.

Part of me likes the idea of Mundy down back for his final few years..... but with the way Blakely is coming on by next year could we run our midfield as:

Sandi - Mundy - Neale
Walters - Blakely - Hill

Kicking to a forward line of:
SPS - Fyfe - Bennell
Yarran - Tabs - McCarthy

With Apeness being our Fwd/Ruck.

Depends on Johnson's fitness but if he's good then we don't need Mundy down back.

Spurr - A Pearce - Collins
Crozier - Johnson - Tucker

Bench full of class too:
Weller - Langdon - Barlow - Apeness

Hopefully this is the team that plays Essendon next year. Haha
