Uber ,Tucker ,grey and mora in.smith, nyhuis and deluca we should be considered also. Clarke and gu big fall from first half. Apeness need more fitness.

Where you at the game. Clark murdered the East rucks. The East ruck man even trying to kick Zac in the bounce downs in exasperation to slow him down resulting in free kicks. 38 to 18 hitouts. Pretty substantial bollocking . Gave our mids an armchair ride. If Clark didn't play Peel don't win ,simple as that.

You're a wee bit douchey.

Stingbitten's a great Barbershop quartet btw.
My opinion is that any change is shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Pav should play out the season because he's earned the respect and has the leadership to do so.

But anyone who thinks we're not in a dire situation as a football club is a moron. The rage of the deluded pollyannas towards me is because it shits them that I was right.

Well I thought he went well dude, personal opinion and all.

Hey man you normally like my posts, don't stop the love now.

Just want to know what that opinion is based on - because I can't see any reason to like his game.

Did you think he tackled well, was his defensive positioning great, was he linking well in the attacking ball movement, etc etc...

Or did you just like his hairstyle...

Not really quite sure what kinda of hell this is when someone can openly say "jedi mind tricks are a terrible hip hop group" and not be hung drawn and quartered for it.

De boer was ok first half, not so much second. Pav - well so sad that the grand old fella has to lead the team in tackles. Geez the effort early on was woeful. All year, I've spoken of no leadership in the middle and teams early getting a run on of consecutive goals. Every time we've had Barlow sitting on the bench. Hill, Pearce etc aren't tacklers at all, there's no Mundy or Fyfe. Even Lachie Neale recognises his tackling is a weak point. RTB had Barlow on the bench early in 1st quarter .... 4 consecutive goals. Did the same thing early in 4th when game was up for grabs .... 4 consecutive goals while Barlow sits on the bench. Youth is the future but they just don't have the consistent effort or leadership to counter these run-ons. Did I say the effort of the mids in the 1st quarter as woeful? Probably the least amount of tackles I've ever seen a Fremantle side lay. Ross was ropeable but was also part of the problem.

Out: Igbo, slopcliffe, slowban
In: tucker, grey, Clarke (if fit)

Collins stays in
Tucker takes ibbo's spot
Debeor only survives because of Mundy's injury

The fact that Barlow sat out longer after being dropped this year than Suban is an indictment on Lyon as coach.

Salim said that Clarkehad a great game today.

What did you think of Collins game? Bar a few bad kicks I thought he played really well

Susan, Mayne, Ballas, Pearce are cooked and not good enough.

Even post-match RTB said 'we didn't utilise Barlow enough in the first'. Umm derr, the fourth quarter either and most of the year. While not agreeing with the 'RTB is purposely ending Barlow's career' mob, Micky has seemed on the outer with him for some time. Lachie Neale gets a heap of the ball but really lacks a defensive side. The rest of the mids are receivers or very green like Blakely (who I rate). With Fyfe and Mundy out, you'd think it'd be pretty simple to get a more defensive mid in there, dodgy kicking and all. The young blokes just needed a mature head in there early on, and someone to show them what a tackle was.

Never would I expect people calling for Pav to be dropped. Not his finest game but Ballantyne was far worse. Almost invisible.

Pavs heart isn't in the game anymore. The guy was dying to retire last year and with the results now he lost motivation.

People who could come in: Tucker, Clarke, Pearce, Mzungu, Apeness (doubtful)
People who could go out: Ibbo, Suban, Sutcliffe, Ballas, DeBoer

Likely ins: Tucker, Clarke, Pearce
Likely outs: Ibbo, Suban, Ballas

I'm inclined to agree.
If Barlow was on the pine while he saw how the young guys went you could put it down to development.
Suban keeps stinking it up though.

Mayne has actually be ok for a few weeks. His indecision is a momentum killer, but he's certainly been better then to suggest being dropped.

We want him to finish strongly so that when he goes we can receive overs for him.

He lead our entire team in tackles. He's busting his ass but he's 34 years old. He's still our best leader currently with Fyfe and Sandi out. Expect him to bounce back against Essendon.

Mayne has impressed me, it feels like he's not playing as close to goal anymore which is good.
