We called it during the week, I know they might want Kent to pressure more and I understand but ffs he is such an important player for our forwardline and we dropped his usual 1-2 goals and 1-2 direct assists for a few tackles.

Agree Melksham was fine, we had worse on the night. Guys like Tyson/Harmes/ANB might win the ball and tackle but **** they don't use it well at all, and it is the height of stupidity if we keep playing so many poor users of the ball with a high possession gameplan.

Tyson is way too slow to release. He gets his arms free then gets tackled and spills the ball. He needs to get it and give like Oliver until he finds some more form. Really poor by him and I want him out of the side

ANBs kick on the full on half time was horrible. That's twice now with the kick back against Geelong and that one that his horrible decision making has been exposed

I think what we saw with JKH was him being brought in before he had the match practice to justify it. He was in good places and took a couple of good grabs, I'd give him another week.

The frustrating part is Watts seems to play good footy as a mobile ruck, and he is so crucial to our forward set up. Can we clone him please.

Kent's pace would've been very handy in the last when we had to rely on some over the back plays.

JKH had a mixed bag game for mine, he tried hard, he took some good marks and presented to the ball (watching Hogan?), but he also did some incredibly stupid things and looked slow at times. But given it was his first game in this year, I'd be happy to give him another couple of weeks to see if he can get into the pace of the game, that might be the difference for him.

But given it was his first game in this year, I'd be happy to give him another couple of weeks to see if he can get into the pace of the game, that might be the difference for him.

I get the sentiment but just don't think it's worth bothering. He isn't off the pace because it was his first game for a while...he was off the pace because he has historically ALWAYS been off the pace. He isn't AFL standard and gifting him some games now on the benefit of the doubt won't change that.

Look at his output over the years. He isn't suddenly not going to be a potato.

Gawn can go on the LTI to make it happen, but we'd need to do it now so we don't get caught out on the off chance that he recovers a bit quicker than originally predicted, and we've got him sitting on the LTI when he's right to go.
