(Depending on Trac and Viney's fitness)

IN: O Mac, Pedo, Lewis
OUT: Spencer, Smith, Milkshakes

Frost to take most of the ruck duties with help from Pedo. Allows Watts to play forward most, if not all of the game.

Lewis comes in - he owes us big time. Milkshake while he wasn't awful, has had a pretty poor start to the season.

Edit - forgot about Lewis.

In: Pedersen, Bugg, Lewis

Out: Spencer, Smith, Trac (all injured)

Frost rucks, Pedersen plays back on Hooker. Switch around as needed. Bugg to play defensive forward rather than back.

In: OMAC, Lewis, Bugg
Out: Muss, Smith, Trac (if injured) or Tyson

TMAC to ruck, OMAC to play CHB, Buggy to play forward as a straight swap for Smith and Lewis as a huge upgrade on Dom. Hopefully Trac is fit.

Excited for Lewis to be back, thus removing Vince from the back line where he is quickly becoming a liability.
What makes you think this will happen? I reckon the coaching staff have Vince firmly entrenched in the backline. As much as I would also like to see him further up the ground I can't see him and Lewis being a straight swap

Why don't we rest our good players like Oliver and watts so they are fresh if we have any winnable games coming up :p

It is funny reading the pessimism here ... it matches what we have on our board! Will this be the game where both sides lose? Both can play some good attacking footy so I expect some entertainment.

Playing Essendon at docklands can feel like an interstate game.
It's pretty unusual to be playing at Etihad against Essendon. Pretty sure 2009 was the last time we played you guys there. Hard game to predict and I'd consider it a really important game for both clubs. Looking forward to it though, It should be a pretty attacking game.

Our first game at Etihad this year, which will be very interesting considering how much we use the new found pace we have. Not sure how a smaller ground will go.

Have concerns for Piggy Hibberd, he's the sort of player that would tear us a new one. Looking forward to a colossal midfield battle, this will be a ball tearer of a match!

Didn't Jurrah debut against them in 09? I remember it being at the G bit could be wrong.

Was definitely at Etihad and yes 09 was the last time we played them there.

I can see both sides winning this game by anything up to 6 goals, god I hope we tweak the press otherwise they'll be scoring on every F50 entry.

I reckon we should give King a run. How could he be any worse than any combination of Pedo, Watts, Frost and Kielty?

OUT: Spencer, Smith, JKH
IN: King, Lewis, Bugg

Bombers look sensational value in this one at $1.95. WTF?

King just came back in dev league I think, no chance we play him.
It was in the Seniors ...
Mitch King:He had seven disposals, 28 hit outs and five tackles in his first game in over 12 months. It was his first game back after his knee injury, which happened in the first game of the VFL season last year. We were delighted with his first-up performance, playing in the ruck. He really jumped at the ball and his follow-up work was very strong. Mitch is another player who is going to take a bit of time to build him back into full match time. We were really bullish about his return.

He might get a run in a couple of weeks if Plan C really isn't working, but I can't see them building up his match time in the AFL.
