Flankers fire sale.Hahahaha hinkley really loves flankers way too much . Watch the bombers rip toumpas to shreads and our forward line wate 99 inside 50s because dixon has 3 defenders on him .
How can anyone be mad at this? Monfries isn't a wingman.
Young out of form and not kicking goals, Wingard is fit. Only logical change.
First good selections for the year.
Happy with that change. Would have been rough on Toumpas, he was serviceable. Certainly better than Young.

Seriously what the **** was the point in offering Monfries a contract?
He was a dead set joke at using the ball. Oh well. Don't know what Johnson, Atley Or Angus have to do.Toump looked ok I thought last week. Glad he's held his spot.
Pls, you just named three players who aren't wingmen. He was a dead set joke at using the ball. Oh well. Don't know what Johnson, Atley Or Angus have to do.
Are any of those players ready made full-time wingmen? There's about 8 or 9 players I'd have in over Toumpas, unbelievable that he's still getting games.
I love the work of Monfries, Atley, Palmer, Krak, Neade, Johnson, Drew, White, Eddy, Howard, and Bonner, and I consider all of them closer to our "best 22" than Toumpas.
Was an unexpected call up, but we can't deny he did deserve a crack, and whilst last in, first out, looked likely, with 26 touches he outperformed everyone's expectations last week so it was always going to be hard to drop him.Surprised that Toumpas holds his spot.

This is fair, on talent, and/or apparent ceiling Toumpas is below many, however right now he's playing good footy and deserves his crack. In one game at AFL level he out did anything Amon had done in 8 games this year. That says a fair bit about his game. There's about 8 or 9 players I'd have in over Toumpas, unbelievable that he's still getting games.

Wingard can play midfield and can switch with Ah Chee who will play mostly up forward. Toumpas will play on the wing, why is this hard to understand?Wingard plays mostly in midfield and toumpas isn't a forward. That's how. Monfries for young is logical. Slow Dimitri at etihad isn't.

I disagree. Amon had 3 games this year better than Toumpas had last week, most notably against Sydney in Round 1. But not the best example, I'm not a massive Amon fan. Would rather most of the players I quoted to both Toumpas and Amon. Toump's disposal is just far too poor for AFL level. If we wanted someone with high, inaccurate loopy kicks, we could have kept Kane Mitchell. This is fair, on talent, and/or apparent ceiling Toumpas is below many, however right now he's playing good footy and deserves his crack.
