Last years finals series indicates otherwise.

He had a 10 minute burst in the final against Port which was a brilliant 10 minutes. 17 disposals.
In the semi against GWS he had 7 disposals.

I know it’s exciting when he has those magical moments but you have look past those very brief occurrences. He simply is a very average footballer that has been carried at AFL level now by two clubs.

Thought Nelson did more defensively than Jetta, but either player going out would be unlucky.
Brander will do better in his 2nd game, showed glimpses of his talent. Will hopefully present himself as a forward target more.

I have NFI how our possession based kicking game will go in the wet.

Not sure if those who play today will actually be considered with only a 5 day turnaround though. Maybe the ones in consideration will be on managed minutes.

I think we need another midfielder in the team. We only have Shuey, Yeo, Gaff, Redden and Sheed who attend centre bounces. With short bursts from Rioli and Lecras on occasion. Other teams have flankers who can play midfield, West Coast don’t.

I disagree. I think he was very close to our worst. Half of his pressure acts is because he fumbled the ball first allowing his opponent to get it.

I think venables being available will be a worry for Cripps

Jetta > Nelson atleast Jetta can kick well. We are expecting too much from jetta he played HBF not wing not mid. He isn't expected to touch it hes expected to defend like Duggan

God I hope so. Cripps has frustrated me in 90% of the games he’s played for us. Sometimes he’s great, but so often leaves you wanting a cleaner and more damaging player

Cripps fitness base would be ten times that of Venables so it won't happen for a while yet.

The coaches will see the value in Cripps. They need to work on his fumbles and show him that clip of him kicking the ball out on the full whilst they backhand him repeatedly until he learns to be a smarter player.
