Darling sustained a hairline fracture in his leg and couldnt do any more than jog-limp on gameday.

If Kennedy played like he did with the same injury then Buddy may as well pack it in and go home, because he is confirmed the greatest forward of this century.

Who’s a better option to play JKs role, Vardy or Lycett. Still remember Lycett kicking 4 goals against the magpies in 2014 as a pure forward, so could be an option to play him at ff and Vardy to support Nic Nat in the ruck. Also think that our midfield and backline will be able to make up for the forward line. There is also the option to move McGovern forward and bring in Barrass and schoey to handle the bombers forward line. We could also look to go in small (rain forecasted for Thursday) and rely heavily on Brander and Waterman to make a contest so our small can pounce. Still think we’ll win this.

Vardy played Saturday so unless he played restricted minutes it most like be Fraser McInnes or Oscar Allen as Jk replacements .

Vardy would probably be the best option if he is fit again that is .

Probably prefer Vardy to come in as JK's replacement, but unfortunately he played yesterday while Fmac was rested(?), so looks like it'll probably be Fmac. Wouldn't expect him to replace JK's goals, since he's not a big goalkicker, but hopefully he'll be able to take an opponent and clear some space for Jake & Brander.
