Can't follow you on that. Very limited player who certainly wasn't in the top five.
May not mean the world, but he was ranked in our top-10 for the Swans game by Player Ratings - above many senior players and young guns who faded in and out of the match. I think he's an effective stopper to have on our list, and how he matures over the next couple of years will be interesting to watch.

Problem is the WAFL side had a 5 day break, so bringing in one of them could back fire. Personally, I'd drop Brander and give Allen a chance this week. A little unfair since Brander was up against it at the SCG, but he really didn't do anything to warrant staying another week.

So the 22 for the Bombers game

Hurn Barras Shep
Cole Gov Duggan
Masten Yeo Gaff
Lecca Waterman Rioli
Ryan JK Cripps (On notice)

Followers Nic Nat Shuey Redden
Int Achee, Lycett, Brander, Petracellue

In: Achee, Petracellue and Barrass
Out Sheed, Jetta, Nelson
I would keep Nelson in - in any event will Barrass be right by Thursday as think it's a back injury and they don't disappear overnight?

They often have posts (tweets) like this of a statement from a WC player saying that he doesn't know much/anything about some other WC player's injury/condition.

The club knows what the status is. It should give us some substantive information, not just post something we can hear from a general media source covering a player interview.

Looks like we will see how the ground holds up in the wet.
If JK does need a rest for his "compound fractured" leg that is just hanging on by sinew, then a bold move would be to bring in another runner.
Have Brander, Waterman, Ryan, Rioli, Lecca, Cripps as the main fwd structure. Rucks can rest there a little and if the game allows it maybe even swing Gov forward for a bit of practice in case we actually do need to do it out of urgency during a game.
Hopefully Barrass is ok and back to allow Gov to do the swing.

Sheed has been rubbish for weeks now, i'd bring in AhChee and play him in the guts where we recruited him to play. If we need a tall forward coz Kennedy is out, bring in Vardy.
Don't think Vardy is ready yet as still building up his fitness post-injury. McInnes would be the likely candidate as was held over last weekend in case he's needed.

I didn't notice Barrass at training today and it looks like Shep pulled up with a lower leg/ankle problem which prevented him from joining in the drills today and leaving training early.

I just want to see one thing...

An effing good ol' fashioned thumping. Like 120 points.

I wanna see Simmo eating a pie mid way thru the third without a care in the world. We haven't smashed anyone so far this year.

NN to Shuey, lace out to JK. Goal. Rinse and repeat

Love a good shellacking every now and then
