Why would you move our best mid out of the midfield crazy idea if we can't get it done up forward with those guys then we are not good enough especially against Essendon.

Fraser McInness who should have played against Sydney can do the job if JK out.
- Allows us to go bit shorter and we have the depth to cover their mids.
- Its also a rotation.
- Makes the midfield/side unpredictable/versatile.
- He is a genuine mid/fwd.

Bring in schofield or emac...both played last week..

Elloit yeo or Gov can go fwd.

There is enough talent to win against Essendon without playing injured players

Oscar Allen and Jarrod Brander to hold down the 2 tall forward spots, they will get towelled up by Hurley but blood them now so they know what is expected of them in the future while this opportunity presents itself.

Yep JK didn't sound confident but it certainly inst a 6 week leg break like reported on hear earlier on.

I can't believe that random Collingwood poster with a couple of dozen posts to his name didn't actually have the inside word.

Both played last week and both were complete shit.

Dont make a big problem bigger by bringing in underdone players and putting our best back and/or mid up forward.

Hackdorn mentioned this morning that it's bone bruising and not a corkie like what JK said. Said he could miss a few weeks...
Take that with a grain of Himalayan salt though..

Bone bruising can be nasty - pity the umps don't protect ball players.

Left field - eMac has pace to lead and could contest (hopelessly underdone I know)

So it seems like:

Kennedy, McInnes or Ah Chee for the 7th forward spot. I think it's McInnes.

Hutchings potentially to come in. I think it will be for Sheed, or small chance for Kennedy instead of a forward.

A small defender out for Barrass or Schofield. Think it will be Nelson for Schoey, or Shep if he's injured.

Just plonk Le cras at FF and get him to watch that game v Bombers where he kicked 12 to warm up.

Was at this game, And if any of you know Etihad at least back then the coaches would go down the elevator from level 2 to level 1 and then walk through the crowd to get onto the ground.

Anyway... My dad and I left our seats late in the last to go to where Knights was going to walk out to see the reaction of our supporters, The amount of security around that area would make an A league game blush, The abuse Knights copped was something I will never forget, Lucky the security had the numbers they did because it could've been the ugliest moment in our history.(Drug jokes noted)

The irony is that Matty Lloyd’s would come out and back favourite son James Hird to lead the team to glory.

I think we should def go in smaller and use Mcinnnes as a focal point alongside Waterman.

In: Mcinnnes Barrass/Schofield, Hutchings
Out: JK (Inj) Nelson , Brander

- Hutchings and Mcinnes will be fresh after being held over.
- Brander looked lost and with out Darling and JK to help direct him he might have a mare of a game.
- Lycett and Nic nat to spend more time at FF to give us an option.
- Hutchings to Wear Heppell or Merret like a glove.
- Need BIG games from Lecra, Cripps, Waterman ,Rioli and Ryan down forward. That is still a lot of fire power.

Team:

Hurn Barrass Shep
Jetta Gov Duggan

Masten Redden Gaff

Cripps Waterman Rioli
Lecra Mcinnes Ryan

Ruck: Nic Nat Yeo Shuey

Bench: Hutchings, Cole, Lycett Sheed

I'm pretty sure they'll leave Brander forward this week. Ah Chee will come in for Kennedy if he doesn't get up. Nelson out for Barrass. They'll look at resting Lycett forward at times as that tall option.
