So far "reliable sources" have told us:

* His leg's broken
* His ankle's broken
* His knee is injured
* His achillies is acting up
* He has bone bruising
* Its a bad cork

At this rate we may as well just cut the bloody leg off and be done with it.
Nope.We are gonna cut the body off ,rest it for two weeks and play the leg in a forward pocket.

Allen didn't play last week in the WAFL. What are the chances of him coming in?

Maybe as a key defender? Not sure who comes out though. I think if we were comfortable going in with just Gov and smalls against Sydney then we'll be even more comfortable with that setup against a Daniher-less Bombers in the wet.

im worried this smells like a 2016 bulldogs EF

We might owe this guy an apology

Hey guys, sorry to intrude on your board, have been told J,K has a suspected broken leg, played the game out under duress, will be out at least 6 weeks

You were right. Damn it. Sorry that people assumed you were trolling. 177 games in a row with one of Darling or Kennedy out there is broken. We are stuffed.

Think you answered your own question with that fifth word.

Shakes my (albeit limited) faith in the club's ability to put out accurate injury info then if they let Kennedy go on radio saying "she'll be right, just a corky" when in actuality his f*cken leg is broken.

They would have known since Monday.

Oh shit! No JK and no JD. Doomsday has come early.
After all the good work to get to the top of the mountain and injuries to cut us down.
Need to get inventive on the goal scoring these next few weeks, and our youngsters need to become men overnight.

Kennedy for Schofield IMO

But no more height up forward

Naitanui to play more minutes

Lycett / Brander / Waterman is enough height.

And if all goes to shit, with Schofield in the side - Gov can swing forward.

FWIW - if we are to have a flat spot and run of injuries, now is the time to have it

Give them all the time they need without rushing and have them back 5-6 weeks prior to finals and they'll be cherry ripe

Yeah it's a joke. My faith was long gone.

Might need to run a #WeWantAnswersWCE twitter campaign to match the incredibly successful Adelaide one.

Why was Kennedy listed as "Knee - test" on Tuesday night then confirmed as having a fractured lower leg on Wednesday morning?

Why did Barrass not appear in the injury list last week when he couldn't train and subsequently missed the match?

Where TF is Burrows?

etc etc

This sucks but we do have some options and at worst he is back for the Pies game and we have two teams struggling with injury and then the bombers who are just meh.

We need out mids to keep performing and just keep getting repeat entries in and kick some goals themselves. I would like to see Shuey spend some decent amount of minutes and play as a goal kicking HFF.

Some options:

Vardy - A decent enough forward who can ruck. Has been finding his feet back in the WAFL after some injuries in the early part of the year. Fitness would be my concern.

Mcinnes - Same sort of player as Vardy. Has been on the list for a while now so he would know the structures really well and can help the younger forwards out. He has been in really good form in the WAFL so he would be my first choice.

Brander - Has played one game already and a FF in the JK mold.

M Allen - Been on the list for a while so he could be more ready made then Brander.

O Allen - Has been mainly playing down back so i wouldn't be bringing him in to play FF just yet.

Nic Nat/Lycett - Spend more time at FF like Nic Nat and Cox did in 2012 when JK missed a chunk of the season.

Tell Gov to take some intercept marks in the forwardline, especially if we deliver it like we did last week.
