Clarko forgot Tucker still wasn't around.

He only loves shitmen tbh.

Corr's only game in the last 10 months was against Adelaide, in Rnd 24, when he was the equal worst player on the ground with Geordie Payne.

Compelling evidence for Clarko to bring him back with zero competitive VFL football and a limited preseason....

The Luke McDonald form line of instant inclusion...
If he was coming in for Luke because we are too short and Hardeman an automatic in I'd wear that. But somehow I doubt that's the case.

Whether it goes that way, or its a defeat at the hands of the other team he mismanaged for years that finally sends him to his retirement, it'll be a pretty fitting end to his career either way.

It'd be fitting for us to fire him into the sun.

Maybe it'll break the curse we've struggled to shake since Boomer was unceremoniously dumped.

Boomer, Drew, and Spud can pick the campaigner up after the game and shove him a bin.

Our exorcism will be complete.

Maybe we select Cooper Harvey to commit retribution for his father, and his only role is to perform some thuggish act behind play on Merrett to deny Bard's only path to victory, thus sealing his retirement.

How we are starring down the barrel of similar defensive lineups from matches from 2-3 seasons ago, beggars belief tbh.

1 unforced change after that performance against West Coast?
My no 1 issue with the club. Why have we recruited like good defenders are a dime a dozen? We have provided our own argument against that being the case.

I fear this club will be irrelevant until we (somehow) recruit a top 10 KPD.

Wouldn't be suprised if he dropped Colby to ensure we keep our one pace focus.
They do say consistency is key.

This is why we are in a precarious situation.

Coach and board tethered, coach coaching for their life at the moment. Unlikely to be making decisions in the long term interest of the football club.

No long term planning really evident.

We invested a massive amount in Dawson and Whitlock at the draft...
Nothing wrong with letting both develop at VFL, key position takes time and neither are ready for AFL football yet.

Hopefully at some stage this year both are.

Having a stinker again. I called his 2025 season ordinary, now we are looking at 2026 trending the same way.

Question needs to be asked. Maybe we should have taken Cadman
Cadman? You'd be calling him a cabbage when he kicks it out of bounds lining up for goal.

No surprise to me. He's going to back experience over a lost against Cats Dawson unfortunately.
Surprise to me. Do Essendon even have a forward line that demands this kind of panic? Bringing in a player that has barely got out of a trot since 2024 is just a nothing decision IMO. Game will be won and lost in the midfield and transition from back - neither of which Corr, nor indeed Dawson most likely - would do anything to change the balance.

You didn't think he'd replace Logue with another key back?
