Hardeman can have a run in the twos to get ready for the blues. I’m ok with this.

Banch v Dov doesn’t shift the dial much at all.

I didn’t think we would get a big crowd but I think a lot of neutrals will turn up - this is like the Roman Colosseum - people will turn up due to the blood bath for the loser.

I would have preferred Dawson or Whitlock to Corr but it’s not a massive miss. Dawson pace is a worry.

Training indicated Corr would play. Which is how it's panned out.

Training also suggests that McKercher and Blamires will play back and Daniel forward.

I guess Daniel playing forward is something, still doesn’t justify the non-selection of Hardeman.

His goal kicking in 2025 was garbage. 2024 he barely missed. He had a shot from 40 out on a 50 ish angle and missed everything. I think he’s a half forward first then midfield.

He’s put too much pressure on himself, North have put too much pressure on him and making him lead might be having a negative impact.

That's just silly. Finbar is useless in the ruck (even more so than CCJ).
The changes aren't what most of us wanted, but at the end of the day we have a list and some depth and need to get the job done. I refuse to get bogged down in semantics as to how we do it.

Corr will play on Langford. Has beaten him before and should do so again.
Apparently, Zurhaar is sore and hasn't trained all week, so don't be surprised to see Darling get a reprieve.
I believe that two of the emergencies won't play VFL for that reason.

The only real strange one for me is Hardeman, but I guess he must be a bit sore or rusty still post ankle injury

Hardeman missing is my only gripe, I’ll be keeping an eye on the vfl game.

CCJ in and Darling out should mean we see a full game of Trembath forward which is exciting.

Corr in for Logue I can understand as they are trying to stabilise the defence so an older head instead of a young buck I can live with but let’s hope Corr doesn’t get injured

If Zurhaar is indeed sore then agree with the poster who said Banch in would like to see a bit more run and spark in that case.
