I honestly dont mind the CCJ inclusion if it means Trembath spends more time deep forward, but I have a feeling he will be told to work up the ground with the other two closer to goal...

Small victories at this point that they didnt drop Trembath...
Ccj is a chump and there is no suger coating it, for me its just like Mahoney,

Not the blokes fault he was selected however is a huge indictment on out list management to have to actuality field such poor players.

And agree that it let's trembath stay fwd. But if even once if ccj strays down there and runs into souva or trembath like he does he wants delisting on the spot.

Never really a question on our personnel. I thought Konstanty was a bit stiff, despite being seriously limited, does and did apply plenty of pressure.

Just a matter of whether the core of this group has the fortitude to grab a hold of the game, arrest momentum and nut out a win. History says no, even against a side who can’t win.

That handball that missed Colby when he was 1 meter from him which led directly to a goal probably didn't help his cause.

Very happy to have Wardlaw back. Corr and CCJ, while l hope they both do well, are both very uninspiring inclusions.

I am surprised they didn't bring Hardeman straight back in l hope he has a great game in the VFL.

Do wonder if CCJ's inclusion is a tacit admission that Xerri's ruckwork was a negative impact.

Be interesting to see how many CBAs/ruck contests CCJ gets, or if we're more going to play him as a forward.

Maybe Corr is coming in as a disruptive forward against the most damaging Bomber in defence. He’ll head straight to McKay if that’s the case 😎

I dear hope there are no triggers of another year in Corrs contract for minimum games played this year. If there is, then I’ll self admit myself to the local Psycho ward. 😩😩😩

Yeh CCJ's wiley deft taps will really provide a counterpoint there.

I don't get why they've done this. So with X as first ruck, and Bath a permanent forward, what is the point of bringing in CCJ? He's not a forward, and he'll only be providing ruck relief to X for 5-10 mins a quarter.
Seem like a baffling, waste of a selection. We should have brought in someone else who can have greater impact, such as Banch, Stiffy, or RHJ.
This is actually a great question IMO and illustrates our collective ignorance on BF as to why certain selections are made leading to wild conjecture and hyperbolic statements. Clearly there must be an underlying rationale reason for bringing in CCJ as determined by those most qualified to make the decision ie: coaches and selection committee. I sincerely doubt they make decisions aimed purely at enraging certain sections of the BF collective. IMO CCJ is there to give X a chop out because he needs it and CCJ might even boot a goal or two to boot!!! Anyways looking forward to putting * to the sword 😎

Maybe we don't want to drive X into the ground after a slog last week? Maybe we want to spare Trembath from too much ruck work. We forget how young he his.

I suspect the angst is around CCJ 's selection rather than the actual idea of a relief ruck. If it were Goad in, there'd be much rejoicing.

I think he goes forward - their tall and medium defenders are young or trash.

When I saw the selection last night I thought of this analogy being around the Easter show period. It’s like you were crook at home in the 70’s and could not get to the show. So you hand over $6 from your paper round job and ask your Sister to get me the 3 best bags.

She comes home with the Roundtree/Hoadley bag stuffed with $15 of various chocolates (Wardlaw). The next 2 are the Commonwealth Bank Saver (Corr) and the Young Talent Time (CCJ) with a bonus Joey Perrone badge.
