Of all the posts and opinions that have been shared - not just this week but this year and in previous seasons, that metric for games 3-8 is ****ed.

We are simply not a serious football club. That not even 2 weeks into the year, we are just not prepared enough to be able to chalk up 1 win in the months of April and May.

And it supports the theory that we come into our own when the grounds get softer and the game slows down somewhat and other teams get sore and then we steal a few wins in June and July before the season teeters off.


I don't think I will forget that stat any time soon. So ****ing deflating.

I just checked the AFL app.

Its actually true. I am not even doubting Marstermind I just cannot believe this stat. There is nothing to debate.
We have not won a game of football in rounds 3 to 8 since 2019.

The more ****ed up thing is if we didn't beat Adelaide by 2 goals in round 4 2019, then this stat would stretch all the way back to 2018.

So its 1 win in 42.

Can someone please tell our players that the hot spot 20 metres out from goal isn’t the only place to kick inside 50.

Seems like every kick goes to a pack there - kick it to the pocket or flanks occasionally.

They can kick it to a pack if Trembath is in there. Thats fine. That works, he loves a pack grab. Would have been dominant in markers up at school

I was underwhelmed by CCJ being selected but I’ve been listening to chat and now watching the Pies game and the game now needs a jumping ruckman at centre bounce. I don’t want Cooper up the ground too much so ok, give CCj a run.

Kick to kick is what you do with a mate or 3 mates in a triangle or 4 mates in a square.. markers up is when the kick is lofted to a pack and its an aerial contest of the beasts

That is a grim read to say the least.

Absolutely awful and don't forget one of the longest losing streaks in 2022 with a losing margin of 47 points or more. **** me we've been incredibly patient. We can't even banter anymore with the Carlton or *Essendon lads at work. Everyone is depressed. Even the other neutrals feel for us and can't banter hard enough.

This club has guaranteed sucking the life out of us if our personal lives didn't with what's happening around us. Footy is meant to be a relief but for us its another torture chamber. I've seen videos on social media about North supporters being extremely loyal and that's actually what keeps me going. When people recognise that you're doing way more for the footy club than it does for you, it speaks volumes.

The club takes us for granted. If we all pull the plug, they're ****ed.
