We had to activate our sub early in that game and Fyfe wasn't playing. It won't be that close this time around.

Good luck with thatProbably not, but then that's not what I said.
Somewhere in the spread of 27-38 points is my prediction.
Must say, I pretty much agree.Probably not, but then that's not what I said.

Crowley is old, time is running out for him although he has had a decent year he will not help you in future matches. Are you saying that Deledio has a bigger tank than Scott Thompson? Crowley kept him to his lowest possessions in a game since the previous time Adelaide played Freo.
Interesting. We've only been beaten once by above 21 points this year and that was in our first game. The weather being forecast is ideal for Richmond's uncontested gamestyle so that should help us more than it does Freo who love the inside, contested footy. The last time we played was in horrendous conditions which is conducive to the Ross Lyon gamestyle which hopefully doesn't happen this week. Freo do have some big ins, Fyfe, McPharlin and Sandilands but our midfield is better than yours even without Foley so I think it will be closer than what you are saying. If Richmond can contain Pavlich which is easier said than done we will win.Probably not, but then that's not what I said.

ughsandilands an emergency, will play you would think

I thought Sandilands was a certainty Ross Lyin again?
Ross the Boss will probably pull him out of his bag of tricks as a late replacement![]()
What's the point? We aren't going to change anything wether he plays or not..
It's not 'ducks and drakes' or whatever people want to call it. This isn't Mark Harvey or Kevin Sheedy we're talking about. Lyon has made two late changes all season; both due to injury. It's just a case of giving Sandilands until the last minute to prove his fitness.
Prior to the Adelaide game Sandilands was still listed as 2 weeks away. If he plays he will play predominately forward and it will probably be at the expense of Bradley. One of your KPD will go from being slightly undersized to massively undersized and faaar more athletic. As you say, it's not a big deal.
I'm sure Ben Griffiths can take him.
Not that Sandilands has played much as a forward, but when he has, no one has been able to take him. He's 1 million feet tall and weights 5000 kgs. What can any defender do when the ball is coming in high into the goal square that is not going to result in a mark or free kick to Sandi?
In: Browne. esp if Sandilands is in. While he is a plodder I reckon his ruckwork is pretty good and his effort is 100%. Issue is what to do with him when Ivan is in the ruck. Stick him in the goalsquare? Cotch, Dusty and Lids have done that well for us. Put him on the bench? Robs rotations, as mentioned. Can certainly rest Ivan in the square for a while. So it's a risk to bring him in, but hands up who wants to have a look at him in the 1s before year end?
Griff (heck he's fragile) will be out so there's the change.
