I must have missed him through the rain... as hardly noticed him.Dmac gave us heaps of run and finally had the 25 touches we have been screaming for. Played well.

Porps was 'meh' today - goes out for LJ.
LOL. Porps was meh for 3/4's of the season and kept on getting picked. DO you really think one meh game is going to mean much to the selectors?Porps was 'meh' today - goes out for LJ.
Mackay had a great second half and kept Varcoe to what 3 touches. Thought he was quiet early but no way does he get dropped.
Agree with Kerridge in for Thommo (a week to rest). Smack for Jenkins. Keen to see LJ as well.
you sure? ....i thought he was meh ....and i am his greatest supporterDmac gave us heaps of run and finally had the 25 touches we have been screaming for. Played well.
I too thought Dmac was poor today. When they interview Sando at 1/2 time I was pretty annoyed he said that Grigg would come off when Laird returned. To me the obvious move was to leave him in and sub Mackay. I think he was ok in the last 1/4 though.
i'll be very surprised if Danger or Thommo play next week. Danger was still in a sling today and if Thommo couldn't run out the game today then he wont be good to go next week IMO.
Which makes for an interesting day for either Douggie or Sloane. Crowley will run with someone, so who gets the tag?
My changes are
Out - Thommo
In - Kerridge
Also, Otten was ok today, but i'd rather play LJ if we plan on using him forward again.
I dont think sando has ever subbed at half time with no injury. If he had subbed dmac at half time and we then got an injury in the third we are playing a man down.I too thought Dmac was poor today. yeah I wouldn't have done it at half time, but Laird had 15 minutes to wait before returning. So IMO after the 15 minute mark of the 3rd i'd have subbed dmac and left Grigg on.I dont think sando has ever subbed at half time with no injury. Out: Jenkins, Thompson (inj.), Otten
In: McKernan, Kerridge, LJ
No way Thommo will be able to cover Pattersons, give the poor bugger a rest.
I'd also bring in LJ. Yes Otten was reasonable today, but we need a forward that can lead and dob a goal from 50 given Freos clogging defence. Otten is not a forward, he stank last week and the odds of playing two decent games up forward are remote.
Out: Thommo and Otten

He isn't a forward and is a poor shot at goal. He did reasonably well today but if we are going to pick him as forward based on a good game why didn't we drop him for a poor game against Collingwood? What the heck did Otten do wrong? As for Jenkins thats wishful thinking.
Yep but McPharlin is out, no need for a defensive job and the best form of defence is attack if we have a forward who can kick goals.Otten was up there to do a defensive job on Harry Taylor
